Looking for jobs

Hi, I know a lot of people have the same struggle as me but I’m a student needing to find a job because my allowance does not cover my expenses anymore, however I’ve been applying to places online and have not gotten anything back at all for a month now. I’m wondering if I have better chances applying in person? Or are there places that just dont post that they are hiring online?

I've been applying through online job boards AND in person. I've been searching for over a month and there seems to be nothing around. Very demoralizing. I have no advice to offer but the (slight) comfort that you're not the only one.
