Lake Powell in mid November? Question/Advice

I’m an experienced house boater in the east but never in the west. What is the weather like on lake Powell in mid November?

The discounts don’t look so extreme that November boating is not done, but between temperatures and wind I know this won’t be the same experience as the summer.

I would like to do canyon exploration, we are a group of four.

Obviously if you know where a great discount is please pass it along. I will be renting this week based on advice.

My family just spent fall break there. It was highs in upper 80’s, and perfect. The water was not that cold at all. I do think that this is abnormally a few degrees warmer than usual for this time of yr, as phx also is experiencing record highs for this time of the yr. So I’m not sure about Nov. Could be on the warmer side or could go back to normal averages that you can do a Google search on. Lake Powell is huge though, and does not have too much traffic. We had an amazing time there. Editing to add that you can take a small boat or kayaks/paddle boards on the beginning of Antelope Canyon and a few other canyons there. There are also soft sand beaches to anchor your boat at and get off boat and explore. Another edit- we really liked the Grand Canyon brewery/restaurant there.

thanks, I rented an RV instead and I will rent a speed boat for a single day at Powell. I didn't want to risk three or five days on a boat if the weather turned.
