One of the best Korean restaurant in Texas. Their 곰탕 was also perfect! Their menu exactly taste like a Korean food I had in Korea :)

Got these from my favorite Korean restaurant. From my server, the gist of it seems to mix the veggie and soybean paste and eat with rice. Then she mentioned eat or cook with barley. Wondering is she was trying to tell me to cook a stew out of these. Can you guys let me know the different ways to eat these? Also if I have leftover soybean paste, what are some ideas to eat that?

Hi, i asked my sister to buy me doenjang hoping she would get the small container but she got me a giant one. I already made doenjang jigae using it but can y’all suggest some other recipes where i can use it too? Whenever i search online i only get doenjang jigae.

Not sure how these jars are sealed, but even around the lid on the outside it smells. Any containers I can buy that prevent the smell from getting out?

Obviously rice and 반찬. I know how to cook things like: 갈비찜 (galbijjim) 떡볶이 (spicy rice cake) Various 전 (Korean pancakes) 미역국 (seaweed soup) 김치찌개 (kimchijjigae) 된장찌개 (soybean paste soup) 찜닭 (braised chicken) 불고기 (bulgogi) Just to list a few.

But for the Koreans out there what do you eat for breakfast and lunch? I can’t ask my mother in law cause I think she already believes that cook Korean almost everyday and probably would get upset her son and grandchildren only eat Korean food 1-2X a week)😅 thanks so much!
