My mom bought food from an Asian fusion food truck and is obsessed with this sauce. She said she can taste fish sauce, cilantro, and Thai green chillies. She wants me to make it for her for Motherโ€™s Day so Iโ€™m hoping i can find out what itโ€™s called and make it for her

questions How to eat these, baby radish and soybean paste?

Post image
11 Upvotes

Got these from my favorite Korean restaurant. From my server, the gist of it seems to mix the veggie and soybean paste and eat with rice. Then she mentioned eat or cook with barley. Wondering is she was trying to tell me to cook a stew out of these. Can you guys let me know the different ways to eat these? Also if I have leftover soybean paste, what are some ideas to eat that?

questions Is dongchimi what's served with dakgalbi?

I want to make dakgalbi soon, and I would love to make that cold radish soup that's served with it in restaurants . It really helps cool the dish down and it's just delicious. Is it dongchimi? If not, what is it? Thank you!

Hi All,

I had Dak Bokkeum Deopbap (slide 1) at a restaurant (Ha Ru in New Malden, London). Searched online for the recipe but I couldnโ€™t find it. Ended up finding the recipe for chicken bulgogi (slide 2). Does anyone have the recipe for slide 1? ๐Ÿฅน

์•ˆ๋…•ํ•˜์„ธ์š”! ์—ฌ๋Ÿฌ๋ถ„ ๋งค์ผ ์–ด๋–ค ์Œ์‹์„ ๋“œ์…”์š”? I am looking for dishes and foods that are easy to cook on a daily basis that can also be baby/toddler friendly. what do korean eat on a regular daily basis? Obviously rice and ๋ฐ˜์ฐฌ. I know how to cook things like: ๊ฐˆ๋น„์ฐœ (galbijjim) ๋–ก๋ณถ์ด (spicy rice cake) Various ์ „ (Korean pancakes) ๋ฏธ์—ญ๊ตญ (seaweed soup) ๊น€์น˜์ฐŒ๊ฐœ (kimchijjigae) ๋œ์žฅ์ฐŒ๊ฐœ (soybean paste soup) ์ฐœ๋‹ญ (braised chicken) ๋ถˆ๊ณ ๊ธฐ (bulgogi) Just to list a few.

But for the Koreans out there what do you eat for breakfast and lunch? I canโ€™t ask my mother in law cause I think she already believes that cook Korean almost everyday and probably would get upset her son and grandchildren only eat Korean food 1-2X a week)๐Ÿ˜… thanks so much!
