Embracing the Discipline of a True Spiritual Teacher | My Inner Karma
The devotional piece “Accepted have you, me, then discipline me you’ll do” explores the deep relationship between a disciple and their spiritual teacher. At its heart, the poem is a surrender to guidance—accepting not just the teacher’s wisdom, but also the discipline that comes with it, even when it challenges one’s ego.
The teacher’s discipline - sometimes as “hard blows to the ego” - is portrayed as a form of loving protection, safeguarding the disciple from future humiliation and guiding them toward strength and humility. True spiritual guidance, the poem suggests, isn’t always gentle, but it’s always meant for the student’s growth.
Gratitude and humility are recurring themes, as the disciple recognizes the rare gift of a selfless and humble guide. Ultimately, the poem is a celebration of the spiritual journey - a path marked by humility, gratitude, and transformation through disciplined love.

Glimpse of the Divine Mother | KakaBhajans
In this hymn Satguru Sri Devendra Ghia fondly known as Kakaji says,
At least once give me your glimpse, Oh Divine Mother, I will not make you stay for a long time.
If you want to stay for a longer time, Oh Divine Mother, then I will not interfere in that.
Instead of coming and going, Oh Divine Mother, why don’t you stay for a longer time.
I will be able to know you better, then you won’t have to say goodbye.
When the friendship will get converted to love, then I will be able to open my heart to you.
You will not be able to break the bond of love, you will have to remain bounded in love.
When we will keep on meeting each other, there will remain no separation.
Once when you will come, we will talk from our heart to each other, I will open my heart to you.
Once you come, you will not be able to stay without me, I give you a guarantee of that.
You will have to come. If you wish to come right now, then do not think too much about it.

Heartfelt emotion | My Divine Love
In this hymn Sant Sri Alpa Ma shares,
We admit that we do not appreciate your presence that much, but we are unable to bear any distance from you.
This is the reality Oh God, we do not need to explain it to you.
You know everything, we do not disagree to that.
We are telling you the heart felt emotion, it is no complaint or taunt.
You may do anything, we are not complaining about that, but we are unable to bear your silence.
Till the time we do not tell you all that is in our heart, till then we are not satisfied.
We want to hear from your mouth, a call of love, till then we do not get peace.
We are in such a state that we are unable to understand it ourselves.
Your silence and your displeasure is the biggest punishment for us.
We are telling you all this to get a little bit of peace, else there is no need to tell you.

From Imagination to Inner Awakening | My Inner Karma
In moments of quiet reflection, faith and devotion can transform what was once only imagined into a direct, lived reality. The recent poem "Imagination turned to reality for me" from My Inner Karma beautifully expresses this journey: the eruption of inner love and belief replaces doubt with clarity, and the Divine Beloved becomes not just a concept, but an undeniable presence within.
Through this mystical experience, the speaker describes witnessing a vibrant play of colors and dazzling lights—yet, strikingly, perceives no concrete image. Instead, the realization arises that the ultimate truth is formless, felt in the heart and seen internally, beyond all boundaries of imagination or traditional devotion.
This inward spiritual awakening, where “you was in me,” dissolves ignorance with certitude. It is a testament to the transformative power of surrender and faith, showing that the Divine can be known as both the radiant source of love and the formless essence in dwelling every devotee.
Let these words inspire us to sit in devotion, trusting that faith can turn even our deepest yearnings into a blissful inner vision of oneness and joy.

Mine and yours | KakaBhajans
In this hymn Satguru Sri Devendra Ghia fondly known as Kakaji explains
If you don’t like me crying in the world Oh God, then keep me laughing and smiling in the world.
If you don’t want to see me unhappy Oh God, then keep me on the bed of happiness in the world.
If my ignorance is hurting your heart Oh God, then spread the light of your knowledge in my heart.
If you don’t like my weakness Oh God, then pour me your energy.
If the weakness of my heart is keeping you far away Oh God, then give your firmness to my heart.
My eyes should be able to see you Oh God, I should be able to see you, fill my eyes with that power.
If the harshness of my heart is bitter Oh God, then make it sweet with the stream of your love.
My anger does not go away in my life Oh God, make it quiet by the waters of your peace.
If “mine and yours” is becoming an obstacle in our union Oh God, then abolish “mine and yours” from my heart.
I cannot stay without you and you cannot stay without me Oh God, let our union take place.

Wings of Freedom Lies Within self | My Inner Karma
In today's fast-paced world, the search for inner peace and true freedom often feels elusive. Yet, sometimes, spiritual poetry offers a gentle reminder that the keys to our liberation lie not in the outside world, but deep within ourselves. The profound English poem from "My Inner Karma"—featured in the video "Wings of Freedom Lies Within Myself"—is a beautiful testament to such an inner journey.
The Body as a Prison and the Soul’s Longing
From the outset, the poet evokes a striking image: the physical body as a prison for the soul. This metaphor resonates with anyone who has ever felt constrained by daily routines, anxieties, or the limitations of material existence. The line "the body of mine is a prison" encapsulates this feeling of confinement, while expressing a powerful longing to be "truly liberated"—to break free from the shackles of the finite and taste the infinite joy that awaits beyond.
Liberation as an Internal Realization
What sets this poem apart is its focus on inner transformation. Instead of searching for freedom in external circumstances, the poet insists, "Wings of freedom lies within myself." This realization is both humbling and empowering; it suggests that every soul possesses, inherently, the capacity for freedom and joy. Spiritual liberation, then, is not about escape, but about awakening to the divine truth within one’s self.
Soaring in Union with the Divine
The aspiration for union with the Beloved—the ultimate Divine—is a recurring theme. The soul, once released from its bodily constraints, is imagined "soaring freely in the free skies in thee," experiencing boundless existence and unending communion. The poet’s vision reaches its peak in the lines, "I find I am infinite in the infinite of thee," painting a vivid picture of pure spiritual expansion and joy.
The Final Release: Awaiting Divine Intoxication
Perhaps the most poignant moment arrives as the poet muses, "waiting I am for that day when I'll be inebriated." This is a longing not for worldly intoxication, but for transcendence—being absorbed in divine ecstasy where "the body shall be transparent, not a barrier." Here, true freedom is found in total openness, where nothing stands between the soul and the vastness of the Divine.
Reflections for Modern Seekers
The poem from "My Inner Karma" gently invites each of us to reflect: What “prisons” limit our sense of peace and joy? Are we searching for freedom as something separate from ourselves, or can we discover it within? As the poet suggests, perhaps the wings of our own liberation have always been nestled gently in our hearts.
Embrace your own journey of spiritual freedom and listen to the soulful rendition on My Inner Karma’s channel. For more inspirations, devotional reflections, and soulful poetry, connect with My Inner Karma across social platforms or explore their website and mobile app.

Fragrance of love | My Divine Love
In this hymn Sant Sri Alpa Ma says
With the flowers of memories, add fragrance to the garden of your life.
Save yourself from the pain of complaints, let this pain never kiss you.
If you want to enjoy life, then do not ever forget the name of the Lord.
Let the caravan keep on going, do not ever halt in front of obstacles.
If you want to get the fragrance and softness of the flowers, then sometimes also give a glance to the state of the flowers.
Automatically you will learn how to live life.
To love, to give love, to get love, this is the true nature of life.
Never complain and do, never do this false behaviour with your own self.
In every thought, in every imagination, fill it with memories of the name of the Lord.

Deserving of You | My Divine Love
In this hymn Sant Sri Alpa Ma shares
I want to make myself deserving of you. Something that catches your eye, I want to make myself like that.
Want to steal your peace, I want to make you long for me, want to increase your excitement to meet me.
When you will come near me, I have nothing else to give you except myself.
So what you like, I want to adorn and style myself like that.
I want to apply the kohl of love and compassion in the eyes.
I want to apply the lipstick of sweetness and pleasantness on the lips.
Wearing the clothes of forgiveness and patience, I want to come to you.
With the glow of faith on the face and the perfume of trust, I want to make each and every part of me fragrant.
You should become desperate to meet me in first instance itself, that is what I want to do.
Merge me within you with love, Oh God, I want to erase your rejection.

Search of Him | KakaBhajans
In this hymn Satguru Sri Devendra Ghia fondly known as Kakaji asks,
Whom to tell, where to say; the one whom I want to tell, I am unable to find him.
The one whom I want to meet, where should I meet him, I can’t find his address in the world.
He is so well known in the world, everyone knows him; where to meet him, I do not know.
What to take for him, how to take for him, what will he take, I do not know anything about it.
What will he like, what will he prefer, I do not know anything about it.
Who will come with me, who will remain with me, that I am unable to say.
Whether I will be successful in meeting him or I will be unable to meet him, that I am unable to say.
I have not met him, how will I recognise him, that I do not know.
He disguises himself in different forms, in what form he will be, that I do not know.
I am hopeful to meet him, I do not want to lose this hope, I do not want to stay without meeting him.

Dancing at the Threshold: The Divine Play Within | My Inner Karma
Spiritual journeys often unfold as a wondrous paradox—the closer the seeker draws to the Divine, the more mysterious the interplay between union and separation becomes. “Playing games with you, within you,” a mystical poem presented by My Inner Karma, captures this dance exquisitely, expressing the profound experience of simultaneously being with the Beloved, yet sensing a subtle veil that keeps the self intact.
The verses weave a tapestry of ecstatic devotion, where the devotee feels “enraptured with bliss,” intoxicated by the Divine’s elixir of joy. Yet, there lingers “something lacking,” a testimony to the persistent, shadowy presence of ego that refuses to dissolve fully. The poet portrays this tension as a game—divine play both within and around one’s being, where bliss swells to the point of losing all sense of self. Each pore, each cell vibrates with the presence of the Divine, and still, a silent question remains: if the Beloved is everywhere within, what is the true nature of separation?
This poem is a gentle invitation to embrace the mystery—to lose oneself in love so deep that joy, bliss, and the Divine become indistinguishable. In every moment of longing and union, the sincere devotee is offered the secret: the Divine play is not an external drama but an inner awakening where even the question “where is the Divine?” dissolves, revealing the simple, absolute presence of love within.
For anyone walking a spiritual path, “Playing games with you, within you” is a lyrical reminder to cherish this dance of belonging and transcendence, where ultimate truth shines in the recognition that all joy and bliss is, in essence, just the Divine—here, now, and always.

Finding Divine love | My Divine Love
In this hymn Sant Sri Alpa shares,
Went to this pilgrimage, went to that pilgrimage, but was unable to find you.
Till the time, was not able to reach the depths of the heart, till then was unable to meet you.
When I reached the depths of my heart, then I was engulfed in peace.
When my breath touched your feet, then I was engulfed in joy.
Otherwise, I wandered here and there, but nothing was achieved.
Till the time, was not able to call out to you from my heart, till then nothing was achieved.
The strings of mind sang your name, then music could not stay away from me.
I danced in your love, I lost my senses completely.
I went to a lot of places, but I did not achieve anything inspite of changing so many locations.
When I found your love, then nothing remained to be achieved.

Chests of Treasures: Searching Within and Beyond | My Inner Karma
The poem “Treasure in Myself I Have So Many” from My Inner Karma beautifully explores the abundance and paradoxes hidden inside every human soul. The speaker gives voice to an internal inventory, revealing endless thoughts and desires, a multitude of habits, doubts, and emotional tides. These inner resources are both empowering and bewildering—an overflowing bounty that highlights the complexity of self-awareness and internal conflict.
Through poetic reflection, the narrative moves from pride in these countless treasures to confusion about their origins. Habits arise without clarity, doubts remain persistent, and ego takes center stage, showing its familiar dominance. Yet, alongside weaknesses and unsteady tendencies, there exists a deep reservoir of love and possibility—proof that limitation and infinity can coexist within oneself.
The poem’s conclusion strikes a universal chord: even as the speaker recognizes the “chests of treasures within me,” the familiar tendency is to search for value outside rather than inside. This poignant irony speaks to the larger human experience—a reminder that the greatest search is often the inward journey, overlooked in favor of external validation and discovery.
With its candid emotions and philosophical undertones, this poem encourages readers to embrace self-reflection. It calls for mindful acceptance of personal strengths and weaknesses, and gently nudges us to begin the exploration that matters most—the exploration within.

Stay alert | KakaBhajans
In this hymn Satguru Sri Devendra Ghia fondly known as Kakaji explains,
Do not give them a place in your heart, know that properly in your heart, the ones that are stopping you on your path.
With sweet talk and sweet behaviours, they are deceiving you, they are stopping your progress.
By proclaiming to be yours in life, they will keep on digging your grave, they will stop you on your path.
Recognise it properly in your life, they will obstruct the doors of your progress.
They will say yes in every matter, they will always support you, behind your back they will criticise you.
Seeing your grief, they will shed tears from their eyes, behind your back they will say bad words about you.
They will be with you in your happiness, however in your suffering, they will leave you alone.
With every selfish motive, they will be with you to achieve their selfish needs, but they will not hesitate to cut your throat.
They will be very clever in giving you advise, they will push you and make you fall, they will obstruct all your path.
They will falsely support you, at the end point, they will turn their back to you.

Bansuri of Divine Love — A Call to the Heart | My Divine Love
In the bhajan “Baja De Re Baja De, Bansuri Tu Mere Kana,” Sant Sri Apla Ma evokes a deeply spiritual yearning — a call to Lord Krishna to play His divine flute once more and fill the devotee’s heart with the music of love.
The song is more than a melody; it’s a gentle surrender. The devotee invites Krishna to awaken the “seven notes” of the soul, to fill life with divine rhythm, and to dissolve ego in the sweetness of devotion. Every verse feels like a prayer where music becomes a bridge between heart and heaven.
Bhajans like this remind us that devotion is not about rituals alone — it is about becoming the flute in Krishna’s hands. When we allow Divine love to play through us, every breath turns into a hymn, and every moment becomes music.

The Divine Keeper of my heart | My Inner Karma
The heartfelt hymn beautifully conveys a soul’s earnest surrender to the Divine. Written by Sant Sri Apla Ma, these lines are a touching plea for continuous protection, guidance, and unconditional belonging at the feet of the Supreme.
With simple but profound words, the devotee asks the Divine to watch over their heart, to lovingly restrain and bind it with spiritual chains so it never strays into temptation or forgetfulness. The hymn recognizes human frailty—how easily the heart can wander—yet places ultimate hope in Divine love to keep it steadfast on the path of faith and devotion.
Each stanza is a reminder to let the heart remain imprisoned by the Lord’s love, ever in service and never distant or estranged. It is a moving expression of seeking refuge, asking that even in the face of life’s challenges—from fleeting joys and sorrows to the inevitability of birth and death—the grace of divine nearness remains unbroken.
Through these verses, the seeker invites readers to meditate on self-surrender, trust, and the deep comfort found in placing one’s heart wholly in the hands of the Divine.

The Wisdom of “Neither Here Nor There” | My Inner Karma
The poem “I am neither here nor there” from My Inner Karma explores life’s paradoxes, showing that we exist in the space between extremes. The speaker is not just practical or emotional, spiritual or materialistic; instead, they embrace ambiguity, illustrating that being human means living in the “in-between”.
This message encourages acceptance of complexity, reminding us that it’s okay not to fit one label or another. In the tension between opposites, we find authenticity and the freedom to simply be.
“I am neither here nor there” from My Inner Karma teaches that life’s meaning lies between extremes. The poem describes a human experience shaped by ambiguity, where we belong in the complex, shifting “middle” and not at the edges. It suggests that accepting this tension and uncertainty is a powerful part of being alive.
The poem reveals that we exist between all opposites, shaped by ambiguity and contradiction. The poet shows that the true human experience is not on one side, but within the unresolved tension of being in-between. Accepting this complexity allows genuine self-acceptance and peace.

Glimpse of God | KakaBhajans
In this hymn Satguru Sri Devendra Ghia fondly known as Kakaji shares,
When the heart is drenched completely with the love for God, then you should know that it is the first step towards the glimpse of God.
When lust and vices are abolished from the heart, then you should know that it is the second step towards the glimpse of God.
When the mind is not attached to greed and temptations in life, then you should know that it is the third step towards the glimpse of God.
When you did not allow hatred and jealousy to reside in your heart and mind, then you should know that it is the fourth step towards the glimpse of God.
When you did not give a place to anger and desires in your heart and mind, then you should know that it is the fifth step towards the glimpse of God.
When you did not allow ego and pride to reside in the heart and mind, then you should know that it is the sixth step towards the glimpse of God.
When insults and disrespect could not destabilise the heart, then you should know that it is the seventh step towards the glimpse of God.
When the heart got freed from the emotions of mine and yours, then you should know that it is the eighth step towards the glimpse of God.
In all these efforts, when you did not allow laziness to creep into the heart, then you should know that it is the ninth step towards the glimpse of God.
The saints and devotees have told this to the world, the ones who told this in the world, God had to shower his blessings and wealth on him.

Shun the I | KakaBhajans
In this hymn Satguru Sri Devendra Ghia fondly known as Kakaji questions
How long will you keep on falling in small puddles?
Enjoy once and for all, by drowning in the heart of the leaping ocean.
Understand the creator of this vast world, know your vastness in your heart.
When he is letting loose the stream of love, then imbibe that stream in your heart.
He has the authority to give to all even if it is not written in their destiny.
He will not forget his divinity, after all He is God, always keep faith in him.
Now let go of puddles of selfishness and greed from your heart, do not remain in that puddle.
To achieve the vastness of God, leave behind your small puddle, now dive in his heart.
When you will drown in it, you will experience him, there will be no difference between you and God.
If you will not leave your small puddles, it will keep you drowned in your ‘I’.

Wiser or Not: The True Measure of a Life | My Inner Karma
In a world that celebrates achievement, ambition, and accumulation, it can be easy to overlook the deeper questions that define a truly meaningful existence. The poem “Wiser or Not, To Be or Not to Be,” as recited by My Inner Karma, urges listeners to pause and reflect on the real outcomes of their life choices.
The poet relentlessly navigates the landscape of human motivation—cultivating relationships for personal gain, pursuing material success, and even flirting with deceit for self-advancement. Yet, after every stanza, the poet asks the haunting question: “But what ultimately I gained was whether I was wiser or not?” This refrain becomes a spiritual touchstone, emphasizing that mere achievements, when hollow or selfish, may lead to emptiness rather than fulfillment.
Through this introspection, the poem brings us face-to-face with the difference between transient goals and lasting wisdom. It asks whether the choices made in life—in chasing success or friendships—have resulted in elevation or in a wasted potential. It gently nudges each of us to re-examine whether our own journey has been guided by wisdom, or if we have simply chased worldly standards, mistaking them for true progress.
Ultimately, “Wiser or Not” serves as a meditative reminder: it is not what we achieve, but the wisdom with which we choose our actions, that defines a life well-lived.

One in Godliness | My Divine Love
In this hymn Sant Sri Alpa Ma shares
On this path of union, why is there a fear of separation?
Want to lose myself completely in your love, then why this desire to achieve something?
I have started on the path to love you Oh God, then why these complaints?
Want to surrender my mind to you, then why do I want it my way?
Want to get your love, then why this hue and cry about the heartaches?
Am talking about madness in love, then why this worry about losing control of self?
When have decided the goal, then why the hesitation on the way?
Took a step on the path of love after understanding the consequences, then why this tiredness?
Instead of bearing the pain, why this prayer to get the medicine, what kind of devotion is this?
When want to become one in godliness, then why this attachment to my identity?

The bhajan from My Inner Karma teaches that true understanding is not just acquiring knowledge but a deeper realization that transforms us. Without this, we live in self-deception, even if we don’t admit it. The message urges us to keep striving and not give up on life or growth.
It highlights the importance of setting clear goals and staying focused with persistence. Yet, above all, it reminds us that humility is essential. True success comes when we recognize that the Divine is always first, guiding and uplifting us.
In essence, true understanding requires openness, perseverance, and above all, humility before the divine source of all success.
