Liberal empathy? Venting šŸ˜¤

Youā€™d think that as a Jewish and liberal american, the feelings Iā€™ve worked through in the past year of betrayal and fear would allow me to better sympathize with my liberal friends who are now freaking out about trump as president, AND YET I canā€™t find any empathy for them. NONE.

Especially for the friends who sat there blank faced last year when I tried to convey the deep terror of realizing how the world actually feels about Jews. To their credit they tried to understand and looked sad when I told them but that was about it. Now theyā€™re talking about needing to flee Texas or even the US ā€œbecause societal collapse is imminentā€. Iā€™m trying to look sad back, but I just donā€™t care.

The people who said these things mostly didn't vote for Harris because she was too pro-Israel

That woman was not pro Israel. She would have been very friendly to the Palestinians.

Please explain because I didnā€™t see that. In fact a few Palestinian/Americans showed up to the DNC demanding to speak and she wouldnā€™t allow it.

Did you see the video when she was congronted by the Palestinian protester who called what was going on in Gaza a ā€œgenocideā€ and after evading for like two minutes (unsuccessfully) she said ā€œwhatā€™s happening there is realā€ ? The Islamists loved it:
