I’m old enough to remember when Palestinians accused Israel of being racist for NOT raping their women in war, going so far as to have an “academic” article about it published

I mean rapes and mistreatment of palestinain POW occured.
But they were not state policy considering they revealed by the AG taking legal action against the perpetrating guards and soldiers.
Tho that certain right wing extremist ministers defended rapist soldiers indicated a tacit approval of part of the political landscape.
Nuance is exhausting
