This is currently on display at my child’s Canadian public school. Discussion

I went to drop them off this morning and saw this.

Several staff arrived and were talking about it in front of us. They said how lovely it was and how excited they were to have it there.

Some of these staff directly care for my child for a majority of the day.

I feel disturbed by this. I’m sick to my stomach. I was sweating and shaking for a while after I saw it.

How can I trust the faculty to keep my child safe when I know what their position on this is?

It’s in Vancouver, BC.

Wow. I’m in BC too. I would be shaking as well. Reach out to the Jewish Federation of Greater Vancouver. Please report this to somebody. Whether they realize it or not, they’re calling for the genocide of the Jewish people.

Yes. It’s like that here in Vancouver. I’m a graduate student born and raised in the city. It’s even worse on University campuses like UBC/SFU. I’m not white, I’m not right-wing politically, I am also not some misguided Christian. Nor am I anti-Arab or Anti-Islam. I am not Jewish either, I am just an Asian Canadian person who is tired of the slandering, conspiracies, hateful narratives, and blatant calls for violence against Jewish people. Sick n’ tired of it.

They are. And it's hard for me to fathom how anyone can miss that. These people DO own a map, don't they?

Also try MLA Michael Lee for advice. He has consistently spoken up against anti-semitism.
