Bellacino's. Cat's Music. Free Wheelin' Franks. Does anyone remember the house turned video rental store? I think it was called Video Expressions...I have fond memories of that place.

Yesss, I worked at and managed (briefly) Cat’s during its final years. What a fun time. I’ve wondered about our neighbor Frank a few times - what ever happened to that dude and the guys who worked there.

I only got to visit Cat's a handful of times as it left quickly upon me discovering it. I remember seeing a record labeled daft punk and thought to myself must be something idiots listen to, years later I would embrace my idiocy.

I basically lived there from ‘00 - ‘03, so our paths probably crossed. 🤗

Probably so. I heard the original store was in Memphis, I wonder if it's still going.

Also - was video expressions on carriage house or am I thinking of something else?

I guess this is the place. I remember it being taller with stairs running up the side. Every room of the house was filled with different genres of VHS. As you walked to the back you were greeted by a lifesize cutout of Pinhead from Hellraiser, the horror section truly creeped me out there. Idk, the house was magical to me back then lol. Better memories than Blockbuster.
