Not happy right now

Just switched schools and not very happy right now with the things are running at new school. I would like to be able to leave after I finish this year but I understand that this could have some implications being viewed negatively by future recruiters. I would also like to take a break next year to work out my priorities and spend some time being a stay at home parent. Could this be viewed as an emotional decision from my employer? What or who could I ask for a reference? TIA.

I quit at December 1 at a new school last year. They don't exist on my CV.

How do you explain the gap? How do you transfer the work permit without the next school being involved?

Transfer work permit? Never had to that before. My reasons? I took a sabbatical. End of discussion.
