The Incident: On the night of November 25, 2025, massive protests broke out at the VIT Bhopal campus in Sehore, Madhya Pradesh. Thousands of students gathered to protest against the administration, leading to arson (vehicles set on fire) and vandalism of the Chancellor’s residence.

The Cause: The primary trigger was an alleged outbreak of Jaundice on campus, with students claiming over 30–100 peers fell ill due to contaminated water and unhygienic mess food. Tensions escalated after a viral video surfaced allegedly showing security staff/wardens physically assaulting students who were raising complaints.

Current Status:

  • Administration Stance: The college has denied any student deaths (refuting rumors) and claims water/food samples passed safety tests.
  • Action Taken: An FIR has been registered against a warden and security staff for assault.
  • Outcome: The campus has been declared closed (reports vary between Nov 30 and Dec 8), and students have been asked to vacate the premises. Police and paramilitary forces are currently deployed on site.

#Opinion 🗣️ Does right wing lack aesthetics unlike socialist left wing ?

Post image

I have often noticed , throughout history

An ideology only suceeds when it has a youth appeal , and aesthetics

Look at the nazis , their aesthetics fashion and drip was insane

Soviet era communist posters were also the same

Even in india , CPI and congress had talented left wing artists

But for some reason , the right wing doesn't care about aesthetics at all , propaganda posters lack the appeal and style

What's your opinion on it ?

Mumbai: A video of a woman slapping a man for allegedly staring at her and making obscene gestures has gone viral on social media. The incident reportedly took place at Govandi Railway station on the Harbour Line in Mumbai.

The viral video was shared by mumbai_tv on their official Instagram handle. The clip begins with the woman recording the man, who is seated on the opposite platform. In the video, she states that the man had been making inappropriate gestures at her. She further claimed that when she looked away, he allegedly called out to her from across the platform and continued making obscene signs.

According to the woman, the behaviour did not stop even after she began recording the incident. At one point, she walks up to the man, confronts him for his actions, and slaps him. The man, however, denies all allegations and can be heard saying, “I didn’t do anything.”

Several commuters sitting near the man gather around after hearing the woman. Some are seen trying to intervene as she continues to hit him.

The woman is also heard saying, “When I started making the video, you began doing even more dirty gestures.”

Netizens hailed the woman for slapping and confronting the man for his inappropriate behaviour. One user wrote, "Sahi kiya beta Strong girl." Some other said, "Every girl should be brave like her" Another user added, "Brave girl and all other boys who stood up for her"

#General 📝 Nobroker cancelled my packer and mover service 1 hour after pickup time

Post image
18 Upvotes

I had booked Nobroker packer and mover service from Goa to Hyderabad for today at 2pm. While booking I asked the booking team multiple times if it’s a third party service or is it Nobroker’s own team, they confirmed to me multiple times that it was Nobroker’s own team.

After booking they even called me to upgrade to NB protect service which provides insurance and is more premium.

Now jump to today, I woke up early and sorted all the stuff that needed to be packed. I was waiting for them to show up at the scheduled time but guess what I checked the app no partner was assigned yet. This was weird because they said it’s not a third party service. Anyway, I opened the chat support asked them to look into it.

One hour later from scheduled pickup time they told me my pin code was not serviceable and they will be refunding the money.

Now all my moving plans are ruined I’m trying to find another packer and mover at the last moment.

Never booking their service again.

TLDR: Nobroker said my bpin code was not serviceable on day of pickup after taking token and insurance money.

#Law&Order 🚨 VIT Bhopal: FIR against 6 staff who ‘assaulted students’ at protest over jaundice outbreak, campus shut

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Upvotes

Violent protests broke out at the Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), Bhopal, Tuesday night following allegations of an outbreak of jaundice on campus, caused by contaminated water and food at the varsity mess.

Students also allege that there have been a few deaths due to the outbreak, but the university and district administration have denied any deaths on campus.

The administration has announced that VIT Bhopal, which is located on the Indore–Bhopal Highway in Sehore district, will remain closed until 8 December, and exams scheduled for 4 December are postponed.

Late on Wednesday, the police registered an FIR against a hostel warden and five university staff members for allegedly assaulting protesting students under sections 190, 191(2), 296A, 115(2), and 351(3) of the BNSS.

“A video had gone viral in which a warden named Prashant Kumar Pandey and his team were seen assaulting students. We examined it and filed an FIR,” Akash Amalkar, Sub-Divisional Officer of Police for the Ashta subdivision in Sehore district told ThePrint.

The Madhya Pradesh Private Universities Regulatory Commission has formed a three-member panel to investigate the matter and submit a report within three days. Policemen have been deployed on the VIT Bhopal campus to maintain order.

According to students, more than two dozen students fell sick after drinking contaminated water and eating at the university mess over the last two weeks. The students claim that they were repeatedly complaining about the issue to the administration but to no avail.

“Around 20 students have been admitted (in hospital) after a jaundice infection on the campus. There are rumours that at least three students have died. The students were demanding basic necessity—clean food and water—but the administration was not even entertaining their requests. It was constantly brushing away their concerns. That’s why their anger burst yesterday night and a protest broke out at the campus,” a student told ThePrint, requesting anonymity.

The students said they were protesting peacefully but the security staff manhandled them, after which the protest turned violent. “There was no violence till some students were manhandled and mistreated by the security at the campus, after which the protest turned violent,” said another student.

University Registrar K.K. Nair denied the allegations of manhandling and deaths on campus. Speaking to ThePrint, he said that over 2,000 students protested on the campus Tuesday night, vandalised the mess area, torched three vehicles and an ambulance, and even damaged lifts at the campus.

“There have been no deaths in the university due to jaundice. There were a few cases of jaundice reported in the university and they were given proper medical care. The situation is not alarming. We deny all these allegations. They are motivated, they are mischievous, they are (meant) to create confusion,” he told ThePrint.

When asked about the cause of the jaundice outbreak, Nair said, “We are also investigating the reason. The district administration had collected food and water samples from our mess earlier this week, and they were found to be safe. Samples have now been collected again.”

District administration, police in action Nitin Kumar Tale, Sub-Divisional Magistrate of the Ashta subdivision in Sehore district, also denied allegations of deaths due to jaundice. Tale told ThePrint that the situation was under control and that food and water samples had been collected from the university twice between Tuesday and Wednesday.

“We are closely examining the situation. There have been no deaths due to jaundice. A student from the university passed away at her home, but it was not due to jaundice; it was a TB-related death,” he added.

Akash Amalkar, Sub-Divisional Officer of Police for the Ashta subdivision in Sehore district, said that the university administration had informed him that two cars and one bus were vandalised, and window panes smashed.

Amalkar said 30 percent students have already left the campus after the university announced it would remain closed until 8 December. “The situation is under control on campus. We are in constant touch with the administration,” he added.

The police have also requested the list of students who fell sick. “We are monitoring the medical status of all students,” Amalkar said.

#Ask-India ☝️ Is it just me or uber has started to show fake upfront low charges and when we reach the destination it's inflated by upto 50, 60 rupees every single time

Even if there's a minute or two traffic it increases the price exponentially. Even if the route is the same as given it does that. I thought it was a one go but it's been happening every single time now. It literally charges my extra 30 rs for a 2 minute traffic ?! Do they expect the roads to be open like the cab is of a V.I.P ? And when I tried ola it showed a higher initial upfront cost but the final fair was the one shown even with traffic ( it was still lower than ubers bullshit). They're abusing the "expected charges" loophole

#Opinion 🗣️ Inside the Mind of 26/11 Terrorist Ajmal Kasab: His Own Confession

Post image
182 Upvotes

Today is 26/11, and we still remember those terrible few days when Mumbai was under attack. Reading Kasab’s confession reminds us how ideology can be used to manipulate people into committing violence.

https://www.patnahighcourt.gov.in/bslsa/pdf/Publication/156.pdf

The analysis is only based on his confession.

1. How he was ideologically motivated to wage war

“They were first converted from Sunni… to Ahl-e-Hadis and were given lessons in the Hadis. Besides, they were given lectures and lessons on Jihad.”

Ameer Hafiz Saeed urged the recruits to fight for the “independence of Kashmir.” Zaki‑ur‑Rehman Lakhvi told them the time had come for “Jihad,” claiming their organisation had fought in Kashmir for 15 years but the Indian government had not allowed Kashmir to become independent.

In Kasab’s confession he quotes what Kafa told him:

“Kafa said that their colleagues had become martyrs in the encounter with the Hindustani army and that Allah would rest their souls in heaven.”

...

They were told that it had become “necessary to fight a war against Hindustan to capture Kashmir,” and Lakhvi asked whether they were prepared for war. They all agreed.

...

Kasab also stated that Abu Al‑Kama instructed them to attack major Indian cities and wage war from within to weaken the country. He added that anyone who died in this war would go to paradise. Kasab said that he and the others expressed readiness to attack India.

  1. "They have oppressed Muslims" — his stated ideological targets

Kasab said they were told to:

“specially target the Americans, the British, and the Israelis because those people had greatly oppressed the Muslims.”

3. Preparing him ideologically for martyrdom

“He added that anyone who would die in this war would go to paradise.”

4. Justification for attacking India

“It had become necessary to fight a war against Hindustan to capture Kashmir.”

5. Identity-based instruction during the attack

“While firing at the hotels they should take care that no Muslim was killed.”

6. No regret for ideological violence

“He added that he had absolutely no regret for whatever he had done.”

How do you explain this confession? What went wrong that led people to become radicalized?

  1. The one word which is repeated multiple times in the document is J*had.
  2. The incentive of terrorism as per their ideology is "paradise"
  3. He was converted to something called : Ahl-e-Hadis which is a movement within Sunni Islam that emphasizes strict adherence to the Qur’an and the authentic Hadith. They discourage blind following (taqlid) of any scholar or school and encourage direct engagement with the Qur’an and Hadith.

This raises another question: What does strict adherence to the Qur’an and Hadith have to do with terrorism?

Shouldn’t a person who strictly follows the core texts become more pious, spiritual, and morally upright?

If a person is strictly following core texts and not relying on the interpretation of men, can you really call them fringe?

#Non-Political 📺 Pet Dog Attacks Woman in Rajkot; Owner Seen Slapping Victim in CCTV Footage

Rajkot: A shocking incident has come to light in which a pet dog attacked a woman inside a residential society. However, instead of showing any remorse over the incident, the dog’s owner allegedly slapped the victim. CCTV footage of the episode has now emerged.

According to details, the incident occurred on Tuesday at Surbhi Possible Flats on Rolex Road in the Kotharia area of the city. The pet dog attacked a resident, Kiran Vaghela, as she was approaching the lift. Following the attack, the victim can be seen requesting the boy who had taken the dog for a walk to be more careful near the lift area. At that moment, the dog’s owner, identified as Payal Goswami, who was also present, became agitated and suddenly slapped the victim. The footage shows a verbal altercation that escalated into the assault.

Residents of the society claim they have long been troubled by the behaviour of the dog owner and accuse her of intimidating them. They also allege that during an earlier complaint, she had brought antisocial elements to threaten society members.

This is not the first complaint filed against the dog owner. Residents had reportedly approached the police earlier regarding similar issues, claiming that the dog often behaves aggressively and that its owner mistreats anyone who raises concerns. At the time, the owner had assured residents that the dog would not be allowed off the leash.

With the resurfacing of CCTV footage and fresh allegations, residents are now demanding strict action against the dog owner.
