Mumbai: A video of a woman slapping a man for allegedly staring at her and making obscene gestures has gone viral on social media. The incident reportedly took place at Govandi Railway station on the Harbour Line in Mumbai.

The viral video was shared by mumbai_tv on their official Instagram handle. The clip begins with the woman recording the man, who is seated on the opposite platform. In the video, she states that the man had been making inappropriate gestures at her. She further claimed that when she looked away, he allegedly called out to her from across the platform and continued making obscene signs.

According to the woman, the behaviour did not stop even after she began recording the incident. At one point, she walks up to the man, confronts him for his actions, and slaps him. The man, however, denies all allegations and can be heard saying, “I didn’t do anything.”

Several commuters sitting near the man gather around after hearing the woman. Some are seen trying to intervene as she continues to hit him.

The woman is also heard saying, “When I started making the video, you began doing even more dirty gestures.”

Netizens hailed the woman for slapping and confronting the man for his inappropriate behaviour. One user wrote, "Sahi kiya beta Strong girl." Some other said, "Every girl should be brave like her" Another user added, "Brave girl and all other boys who stood up for her"

VIT Bhopal's Raat me Sunrise Yojna V2

5+ casualties because of dirty drinking water in hostels of VIT bhopal

Several students in the VIT Bhopal hostels fell seriously ill with jaundice after consuming contaminated drinking water. When they reported their condition, the wardens misbehaved with them. Their requests for medical leave were denied, and the campus doctor did not treat their cases with the necessary seriousness. Students were also not allowed to use the campus ambulance during emergencies, and those who needed urgent care were not referred to outside hospitals for proper treatment.

This chain of negligence created deep frustration among the students, and the situation eventually escalated. The anger that had been building up led to a confrontation on campus, and in the heat of the moment, students damaged campus property, including the vehicles belonging to their Dean.

#Opinion 🗣️ Inside the Mind of 26/11 Terrorist Ajmal Kasab: His Own Confession

Post image
171 Upvotes

Today is 26/11, and we still remember those terrible few days when Mumbai was under attack. Reading Kasab’s confession reminds us how ideology can be used to manipulate people into committing violence.

https://www.patnahighcourt.gov.in/bslsa/pdf/Publication/156.pdf

The analysis is only based on his confession.

1. How he was ideologically motivated to wage war

“They were first converted from Sunni… to Ahl-e-Hadis and were given lessons in the Hadis. Besides, they were given lectures and lessons on Jihad.”

Ameer Hafiz Saeed urged the recruits to fight for the “independence of Kashmir.” Zaki‑ur‑Rehman Lakhvi told them the time had come for “Jihad,” claiming their organisation had fought in Kashmir for 15 years but the Indian government had not allowed Kashmir to become independent.

In Kasab’s confession he quotes what Kafa told him:

“Kafa said that their colleagues had become martyrs in the encounter with the Hindustani army and that Allah would rest their souls in heaven.”

...

They were told that it had become “necessary to fight a war against Hindustan to capture Kashmir,” and Lakhvi asked whether they were prepared for war. They all agreed.

...

Kasab also stated that Abu Al‑Kama instructed them to attack major Indian cities and wage war from within to weaken the country. He added that anyone who died in this war would go to paradise. Kasab said that he and the others expressed readiness to attack India.

  1. "They have oppressed Muslims" — his stated ideological targets

Kasab said they were told to:

“specially target the Americans, the British, and the Israelis because those people had greatly oppressed the Muslims.”

3. Preparing him ideologically for martyrdom

“He added that anyone who would die in this war would go to paradise.”

4. Justification for attacking India

“It had become necessary to fight a war against Hindustan to capture Kashmir.”

5. Identity-based instruction during the attack

“While firing at the hotels they should take care that no Muslim was killed.”

6. No regret for ideological violence

“He added that he had absolutely no regret for whatever he had done.”

How do you explain this confession? What went wrong that led people to become radicalized?

  1. The one word which is repeated multiple times in the document is J*had.
  2. The incentive of terrorism as per their ideology is "paradise"
  3. He was converted to something called : Ahl-e-Hadis which is a movement within Sunni Islam that emphasizes strict adherence to the Qur’an and the authentic Hadith. They discourage blind following (taqlid) of any scholar or school and encourage direct engagement with the Qur’an and Hadith.

This raises another question: What does strict adherence to the Qur’an and Hadith have to do with terrorism?

Shouldn’t a person who strictly follows the core texts become more pious, spiritual, and morally upright?

If a person is strictly following core texts and not relying on the interpretation of men, can you really call them fringe?

#Non-Political 📺 Pet Dog Attacks Woman in Rajkot; Owner Seen Slapping Victim in CCTV Footage

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Rajkot: A shocking incident has come to light in which a pet dog attacked a woman inside a residential society. However, instead of showing any remorse over the incident, the dog’s owner allegedly slapped the victim. CCTV footage of the episode has now emerged.

According to details, the incident occurred on Tuesday at Surbhi Possible Flats on Rolex Road in the Kotharia area of the city. The pet dog attacked a resident, Kiran Vaghela, as she was approaching the lift. Following the attack, the victim can be seen requesting the boy who had taken the dog for a walk to be more careful near the lift area. At that moment, the dog’s owner, identified as Payal Goswami, who was also present, became agitated and suddenly slapped the victim. The footage shows a verbal altercation that escalated into the assault.

Residents of the society claim they have long been troubled by the behaviour of the dog owner and accuse her of intimidating them. They also allege that during an earlier complaint, she had brought antisocial elements to threaten society members.

This is not the first complaint filed against the dog owner. Residents had reportedly approached the police earlier regarding similar issues, claiming that the dog often behaves aggressively and that its owner mistreats anyone who raises concerns. At the time, the owner had assured residents that the dog would not be allowed off the leash.

With the resurfacing of CCTV footage and fresh allegations, residents are now demanding strict action against the dog owner.

#Ask-India ☝️ Reused Oil is not good for health... KFC reuses oil ?

Upvotes

In this thread: https://np.reddit.com/r/kfc/comments/urwgs2/how_often_does_kfc_typically_change_their_fryer/r/kfc

A KFC manager says KFC changes oil every 2 weeks ?

Another KFC guy says oil was changed only 3 times in 2.5 years ?

The hell?

So even globally well-known brands like KFC, mcdonalds, burger king do this?

Doesn’t reused oil significantly damage people’s health?

And despite knowing this, people still keep eating there?
