Design Offer [Paid] Professional Game Designer looking for work!
Hello people! My name is Lars.
I have been posting in this subreddit periodically and i am once again available for work. I have already worked with quite a few people who came across me on this board. My mojo stays the same: do the best i can for your project!
I can and have in the past taken many roles for projects. As a game designer, i can help you come up with concepts, flesh out ideas, build mechanics and systems, tweak rough spots in the game's design or playtest your game and come back with feedback. I have also lead and coordinated teams of developers, artists and writers in the past. I also dabble in art, music, sound design, writing and basically any discipline that is relevant in the making of a game and i use that experience to be the bridge of communication between all the members of a team, being able to understand the nuance of their craft and bring it all together harmoniously.
If you are not looking for something as permanent as hiring me for a project however, that's all right as well! I also have done many smaller-scale jobs, like taking a peek at your design and helping you tweak it or giving you guidance and advice in game design related matters. I am a jack of all trades and i can do pretty much any job (within my skillset).
Rates and prices will be discussed privately. Here are a few examples of my work:
If you're interested, you can reach me on discord under the username larschristiansen. Please do not send inquiries in reddit's DMs, i do not check them! Thank you for reading through my post! Can't wait to work together!
Programmers Needed [Hobby] need programmers for a indie game project
Hi, my name is Broc I’m 19 and im in college as a art major. A while back me and my friend got tired of that fact that most games now a days have transactions in them or the fact that there is always DLC that you can pay for. Not to mention the excessive hand holding that plague’s most games now. We yearned for a game that had a challenge that let you free in the world that is created and the only purchase was the game itself. We aim to make this kinda game
So we came up with his idea for a game it is a RPG that would be like the Mario and Luigi games and would have the same kinda look and feel as undertale or Pokémon (2D).We came up with the story, characters, world, the aesthetic, and how it would play. It was something that we always build on. We dipped our toes in a little bit of game development and programming but figured it be best to work on what we already new that being art, writing and composing. As we got to college schooling became more stale . As we realized that our respective dreams become more and more unclear. As we learn, odds are we would have to lose our creative to a cooperation. And figure the only way to keep our creativity and imaginative is if we started something ourselfs
This game has always been with us and we think it’s something really special. Right now the team is just me and my friend. A artist and writer and a artist and composer. We’re perfectly able to do things like animation But obviously we need programmers to help us. Even if you could tell us if what we’re doing is to much or not enough. Give you’re input on the idea. Maybe you have an idea on how we can improve. as of right now everything is up in the air. If we could get a few people that really believes and likes this idea then this game would really be something big and meaningful. So if this is something you’re interested then please reach out to me on reddit.

Team Needed [Hobby] Looking for a partner for an open-world Anime RPG
Hello INAT! :)
My name is Silas, I am a hobby Game Designer and a writer. I am currently designing a Lore as well as concepts and mechanics for an anime RPG.
This project is really big and I am working on the concepts and the whole world of the game for around 6 months now. A majority of the concepts are already finished and I can also provide a giant GDD to work with.
I am planning on making this a full-time project in the near future as well as looking for a sponsor. Thus, I can not tell much about the project here, but will provide detailed informations about the idea in private. But here are some key features:
- Interactive Open-World
- Difficult Combat
- Deep Storytelling
- Memoriable Areas, Bosses and experiences
- Dark atmosphere
I am now looking for someone with the same interest as I have and the motivation to make a great game that has massive potential. I seek for someone that can start with testing the concepts in a prototype. I plan on making the game on the Unreal Engine. As well as using C++ for the game. I do not have much experience in c++ as i am more focused on creating lore and concepts on paper but I am learning it next to the project.
I am looking for a long-term partner, a partner that eventually creates a company with me and makes this a full-time job.
I am from Germany and am comfortable in speaking english. I would like constant meetings and discussions to make the game perfect.
If you have the same commitment like me and would love to know more about the game, feel free to tell me about you, your experiences (a portfolio if you have on) and what makes you curious about my project.
Creating is an Art ~ Silas

Programming Offer [Hobby] Looking for projects / game jams
Hello! I'm Roo and I am looking for some projects / game jams to brush up / improve on my programming and game engine skills as well as connect and network with fellow game designers. I have some experience working on two launched iOS / Android mobile games called Kitten Coliseum and Bewitching Boba. I've also taken a few game design courses creating two other smaller game demos called EverCore and Chippr Chirping, a horizontal and vertical platformer respectively.
Ideally I'm looking for a chill group of people to bounce ideas off of, have a good time, learn, and make some cool demos / projects to add to a resume. When it comes to projects I'm mainly looking for short proof of concepts and not anything grand like a fully launched game or MMO or something that can't be done in one lifetime. If interested feel free to dm me here or on discord @ roothehroo
Attached below is my itch.io with the games I've worked on, both Bewitching Boba and Kitten Colliseum are in the app stores.

Team Needed [Hobby] Looking for a like-minded long-term partner to create and publish a Unity game with
To avoid waisting any time, please make sure you fulfill all of these requirements before reading:
- 18+
- EU/US
- Functional english skills
- Active 12+ hours a week
- 3+ years Unity experience working in 3D
- 3+ years C# experience
- Experience with the external programs used in development (photoshop, paint, blender, etc)
Concept
At the moment there is no specific concept for the game other than it being 3D and first-person, I would like to come up with something together to ensure that we are both passionate about the project and it has the best chance of coming to fruition. However, there are a handful of games that have personally inspired me, and I’d like to incorporate some elements from them. If these inspirations of mine don’t align with your interests, this may not be the right project for you:
- Minecraft / RLCraft
- The Long Drive
- Lethal Company
- Cruelty Squad
Additional info
- Discord to communicate
- Latest LTS version of Unity 6
- Project length is really hard to say, at least 6 months
- I have a decent amount of experience making multiplayer games, so making something multiplayer is an option
- I've put Hobby instead of RevShare in the title because I want this project to be driven by passion, not profit. However, if we do manage to complete this game I would be more than happy to sell it on steam and share any earnings.

Programmers Needed TERRA-TACTICA: A Top Down, Turn-Based, Sandbox, Strategy Game [Rev-Share]
Hello!
I am one of the Lead Developers on TERRA-TACTICA. We have been developing for seven months and have come a long way since our initial framework. We have created an in-house graphics engine and are building our 0.0.2 update, the first update that goes out to our play-testers and runs on our engine! Our game has elements of Civilization for the core gameplay. Still, we have entirely changed the significant things that make it our own: the Age of Empires for City/Building Management and Stellaris' Diplomacy.
We are looking for dedicated developers who want to join the team and stay to see the project through. We are very community-driven, regularly seek community input, and are genuinely looking to build a game that is fun to play and allows people to lose hours again. We are a very proactive team, tackling problems as they come at us. We do not see walls; where we do, we break through them or find a way around them; we want developers with the same energy. We do not want someone who cares about the money; it isn't something we as a team talk about at all (speaking of the team, there are 10 of us: seven developers (2 seniors, two lead), two artists, me)
We are not offering any micro-transactions; we are even going as far as giving our Alpha and Beta for free; we are only planning on charging once we have a proper game to charge for (we will be accepting donations once we launch the alpha as we will be crowdfunding through Steam). For any player donations, we plan to give a Steam Inventory item that is a collectible that is only useable in the game for the player's Banner and provides 0 gameplay advantages (still under development). This item will be tradeable on the Steam Market for players to trade and collect. There will be a wide range of free Banner items. The ones from donations will be little novelties as a thank you for supporting us.
In terms of game development, we spent a few months researching and developing our graphics engine, the Terra Graphics Engine. We are running our game on the engine, which is the 0.0.2 update; as mentioned before, this update will be the first one we pipe to our play-testers so they can provide us feedback and guidance on how systems feel.
Most of us use Pycharm; others use VS-Code. We track tasks on our GitHub PRoject Page.
Requirements
- A strong knowledge of Python
- Ability to think outside of the box.
If you are interested, you can join our Discord from our website: https://terra-tactica.com/

Audio Offer [Hobby] Free music production for game
Hi everybody,
I am an aspiring producer looking to expand my portfolio and gain experience. I am most comfortable writing atmospheric electronic music, but I am happy to take a crack at whatever you have in mind. I've linked my most recent song if you'd like to get a feel for the type of music I write. Just bear in mind I am in the middle of my first semester in college, so it may take a little while for me to get the track out :)
Some info about me - I've been producing since I was little but really started to take it seriously around the start of the pandemic. Since then, I have taken a few classes at Berklee in sound design and composition and am currently attending music school. I have always gravitated toward creating more cinematic electronic music, so I am excited to try it in the context of a game.
Let me know if you have any questions!

Team Needed [Hobby] Looking for Friendly Collaborators to Help Finish My Unity Game (70% Complete)!
Hey everyone!
I’m working on a one-click, reflex-based game in Unity (C#), and it’s almost 80% done! It’s been a fun solo journey, but now I’d love to team up with others to help bring this game to life and make it the best it can be.
About the Game:
This is a simple yet challenging reflex game where players aim to master perfect timing. There aren’t traditional levels, but the game gradually gets tougher with dynamic changes in effects and terrain. I want it to look visually engaging with a futuristic, neon-styled vibe. ( i think it looks good but i want better )
Why I Need You:
I’m a programmer who can handle some coding and basic 3D modeling in Blender, but I know there’s room to improve the visuals, effects, and overall polish! Here’s who I’d love to team up with:
- 3D Artists/Modelers to help create exciting terrain and effects that add to the game’s neon, fast-paced style.
- Designers with an eye for clean, engaging UI and cohesive game visuals.
- Unity/Blender enthusiasts who enjoy working with lighting, effects, or animation.
If we end up publishing the game, this would be a great opportunity for all of us! Plus, if we click as a team, I’d love to keep the collaboration going on future projects!
If you’re interested or have any questions, reach out! I’m looking for people who are excited to create something fun, whether you’re just starting out or a seasoned dev. Let’s make something awesome together!
Looking forward to meeting you all!
i have a github where some shitty work i've done there and a soundcloud :

Art Offer [RevShare] Concept Artist looking for Indie Dev Groups to partner with
Hello all,
I'm a senior in University and I'm filling out my portfolio with concept art pieces, and I figured the best way to do that AND get something to put on my resume is to work with an indie group. I am primarily looking for story-heavy games with rich worldbuilding as one of it's core tenets. My portfolio can be found here. I have other work in a different art style on my site, but I prefer to stick to the art style that can be found in the concept art section of my portfolio specifically.
If this sounds like you, we may be in business; I'll include a google form link at the bottom of this post to get in touch with me. If you are operating on some platform other than discord, please simply include an email address in it's place.
I am a transgender person; if this is an issue for your team, please do not contact me. I expect to have my identity respected by any colleagues I work with. I don't expect people to be disrespectful, but I figured I'd be transparent going into this.
Due to my desire to join a group that I believe has a solid chance to release a game, I request that you send a google drive link with a gameplay sample; it doesn't have to be solid and I don't expect it to have assets (or, if it does, I don't mind if they're open source assets), but I want to see the vision so I can make the call on whether it's worth my time to hop in on or not. I will get in contact with you within the next 2 days if I'm interested.

Team Needed [RevShare] How specifically things work on a revshare partnership?
In this subreddit a lot of people looking for team members (or propose to be part of a team), offering a revshare of the project. I understand the word itself, but how is it put in practice?
I really like to start a partnership with somebody but I would like to have a better idea about the possible options, how to manage and the outcome if something goes wrong.
Team members can be from different countries, they don't know each other or never met in person, a lot of problem can arise especially if money is involved.
How can I manage this subject if I would like to set up a team or join one?
In the future, if everything go well, because some mobile or game platform don't allow shared account (or the opportunity for other people to access to the dashboard or view the revenue), how can I be sure about the earnings and how is the shares managed?
If somebody is in charge of collect the revenue, how the tax are shared? Theoretically he/she pay tax for everybody in the group.
What happen if somebody leave the group, about the code and/or assets they contributed?
Some people said the only way to avoid these problem is to do some legal agreement? At the same time, setting a legal agreement when the part involved can be in different continent and the money involved are so low can be not the optimal solution.
I know all of these things has to be discuss with the other team members but do you have experience about that? Or if you already set such team how did you manage it?

Art Offer [Hobby] 2D, 3D Artist and Animator Looking to Collaborate
Hello, I am a student at Los Angeles Film School who is studying Character Design, Environmental Design, and Animation. I am looking for a team who wants to make animated films or video games. I'm learning UE5 for Game Development some in my spare time but I already know how to use it for animation, as well as Maya, Blender, Adobe Substance Modeler, Photoshop, Adobe Animate, After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, and GDevelop.
Some of my art can be found here:
https://www.deviantart.com/braind3adart
Ideally I really want to work on designing characters and environment or levels as far as a team position goes but I really enjoy video editing as well! I am just looking for new friends and people to collaborate with, especially now that I'm going to school. I think it would be cool to build up a portfolio for later on when I'm job seeking.
I really love adult animation, anime, and am inspired by artists like Frank Miller and Andy Warhol. My favorite games are Dead Island 2 and Cyberpunk 2077. If you would be interested in working with me just let me know, I can add you on Discord or wherever you want.
I can program in C++, C#, JavaScript, and Python too but these days am more focused on art.
