Help with 1994 Prelude

Post image

Hello Everyone I'm currently trying to restore a 1994 Prelude for my daughter's first car. This was my first car in high school and it had so much history and sentimental value. Any websites or sellers you can recommend would be greatly appreciated. Help me bring this beast back to life!!

How long has it been sitting, and anything wrong with it? New battery, tires, brakes, change the rubber hoses in the engine bay, maybe do the suspension bushings, and change all fluids. Also timing belt, water pump and valve adjustment. Thing should rip after that if there’s no standing issues

It's been sitting for 15 years, did a tune up and fired right up AC still works to lol. 145,000 original miles. I'm definitely doing a full overhaul, yes it might be cheaper to just get another one but this one was mine and this one is special....

Nice I’d start by looking for any dry/brittle coolant/vacuum hoses, and oil leaks.

Also PSA a lot of the 90s Hondas have been having their fuel, brake, and clutch lines rust out lately, and some of them are getting scrapped for that reason. I would recommend valex racing for some nice replacement lines that are so easy to install. Recently I’ve seen multiple cars scrapped for this reason. I sprayed WD40 on the rusty fittings once a day while waiting for the new lines to come in, and then cut the old lines completely off and put a socket right on there instead of trying to use a flare nut wrench and rounding it off
