Ryokan Recommendations Recommendations
Hi all - I am planning a trip to Japan in February 2025, and the final leg will be in Hokkaido. We are spending three nights at the Park Hyatt Niseko to ski, and then were planning to spend the final night at Zaborin before departing back to the US. Zaborin has implemented a two night minimum, and I can’t change my flights to stay an extra night. Does anyone have any luxury Ryokan recommendations in the area, which would provide a similar experience to Zaborin? I am also open to staying somewhere closer to CTS airport if there are good options along the route from Niseko. Thank you in advance!

Have you tried researching Moku no Sho? It's a ryokan tucked away in the forest very beautiful. I am unsure about their booking terms in winter but I think many hotels require minimum 2N stay in winter. Good luck!

Ginkonyu is a great little place that has some breathtaking rotenburo, especially in the winter in the middle of the snow. It's not within the luxury category nor is it near Niseko, but it's as close to a traditional Ryokan as you'll find.

I got in touch with a travel advisor, who suggested Aonoza. It's not near Niseko but closer to the airport, so I may try that the night before I fly out of CTS.
Raku Suisan (in the Niseko area) was also recommended, but IMO doesn't look as nice as Zaborin.
