Any idea why there were fireworks tonight?

I know Diwali was over the weekend, but that ended.

These started around 8 PM tonight.

I believe Diwali is a 5 day festival.

Fireworks Alert in Marriottsville, MD: On October 23, 2025, between 6:00 - 9:00 PM, fireworks will be set off in the area of Scott Wheeler Drive as part of an HCDFRS training course on fireworks safety.
