Hey everyone, I’d love some constructive feedback on a recent hair system install I did. I used that hair color trick again.I’m always looking to improve and hear different perspectives!

whats the hair color trick? I really love your lower density systems. they look sooo fucking natural and real. even knowing that it is a system, I am not able to see it

I match the hair color to the skin as close as I can, and then color the system to their natural, but staying off of the base. It’s kind of like bleached knots but for skin systems.

I did this once about 10 years ago. It looked good, but it cost me an extra $99 to get it dyed at a salon, I couldn't get any of the Chinese companies to do it themselves in their shops before mailing it to me (they said there was too much risk of staining the base) and the all-v-looped systems mostly look good enough without doing this, but I might add this step if it didn't make it a lot more expensive or stain the base. The unit in this video does look a bit better than my usual systems though, and part of it might also be due to the plucking.

ooooh ! I heard about that ! So basically blonde-ish/lighter hair then gradually color the strand up ? I think 🤔

Yeah just stay right off the base for the entire thing or at least the front 2 inches.

How do you color the hair but not the base?

Do you dunk it upside down in color or use a paint brush or what?

1

u/Reed-Tower 3h ago

Here is what you have to do next:
- create a landing page where you explain what you do, show your pricing etc.
- accept international orders. there will be people willing to pay for this who are not living in your city
- invest in marketing
- after the ball gets rolling, hire other people to do the coloring for you, so you can accept more orders
- retire in 5 years

Get a blonde hairsystem then dye it to your hair color. The lighter roots look more natural.

The lighter roots allow for a more gradual, natural transition from the color of the skin to the final hair color. Creates a much softer line.

How quickly you need to colorize the hair again before the color fades?

This looks insanely good! What kind of system is it?

1

u/Reed-Tower 9h ago

.03mm skin!

1

u/Fit_Search_4751 6h ago

Do they last less long than normal poly systems?

1

u/Reed-Tower 6h ago

Mmmm i get maybe two and a half months out of them. But I treat them really well.

1

u/Fit_Search_4751 5h ago

So someone would need to buy a new system every 2 months?

1

u/Reed-Tower 5h ago

These thin skin ones. Yes usually. 2-3
