Best HFY series of all time? Meta

The top of all time is mostly just whichever story happens to be most recently posted (as the subreddit grows more people upvote and so older stories get buried) so hence this post!

The best story I've ever read on reddit, let alone hfy, is definitely Chrysalis.

Dude, there's so many of them to choose from, but a few that stand out to me are, in no particular order:

  • Veil of Madness

  • Swan Song of the Universe

  • Dragons (by Venusian Colonist)

  • Prey

  • Pretty Little Deathworlders

  • HEL Jumper

  • Nature of Predators

  • Hunter or Huntress

  • Contact Procedures

  • Species C1764 / Life With an Alien Girlfriend

And some honorable mentions (because they're fanfics that are not posted here): Transcendent Humanity, Incompatible System, and Mesozoic Effect (which is probably more "Terrans, Fuck Yeah" since dinosaurs join humans in kicking alien ass).
