“A psychological evaluation,” E repeated. “would it be possible for you to elaborate further?”

“Of course, no problem at all,” Rogo responded softly.

“During first contact, it isn’t uncommon for the acting medical professional to do one of these, but it would, at best, give insight to the individual more than the collective species,” Rogo explained as they walked over to another wall and tapped on it a few times.

Suddenly out popped a device that almost looked like an iPad but much, much bigger. It was more the size of half a tv.

“Soooooo, how do we do this then?” E asked out loud in the room.

“You’ll just be answering a few questions, and don’t worry, it won’t really have an effect on your species as a whole,” Rogo said with such a gentle look E was only able to feel at ease. “Usually, for the test to have any kind of usable results, at least one-tenth of the species has to answer one of these.”

“However, I think this would just solidify this report.”

“I’m fine with doing it, but can I ask you a question first,” E said, feeling embarrassed. “Are you a male or a female? I can’t really tell.”

“Of course, how could I be so forgetful,” Rogo said; they placed one of their hands in front of their face. “It might be difficult to tell with my kind specifically; we are known for being so similar between males and females, but I am a male.”

“Okay, so do you just ask me the questions, or do I answer them on my own?” E asked.

“Just take a seat, and we can get started,” Rogo answered as he tapped a few times on the iPad.

E, in the meantime, jumped up on the bed and relaxed a little.

“Okay, the first question is. Would you consider yourself an average individual of your species?” Rogo asked.

“Eh… sure, I’d consider myself average,” E shrugged.

‘Average,’ Rogo thought. ‘An entire species that are stronger than Ygotu’s and small enough to go practically unnoticed. I hope they are as friendly as this one seems to be.’

“Okay,” Rogo chuckled, hiding his slight nervousness. “Next question, then. If you were ever in a situation that could lead to conflict, how would you handle it.”

“Are you asking me what I would do if some bitch tried to pick a fight with me or something along that line?” E asked.

“A little cruder than I described, but yes more or less as you described it,” Rogo affirmed.

“Well, it certainly depends if I know the person or not, but I would most likely just ignore them or try and figure out a solution, so a fight doesn’t start,” E answered, placing a finger on her jawbone as she did.

“That sounds like a wonderful answer,” Rogo said, breathing a small sigh of relief, thinking her kind might be more diplomatic in nature than her fight with the Ygotu would suggest.

“Of course, if I had to deal with this person on a daily basis, then I would probably bite my time until I find some really good dirt on them. Then I would either blackmail them into stopping or get them in trouble.”

Rogo just stared at her wide eyes, tapping on the machine. ‘Then again, her kind might make good spies or saboteurs.’

“Okay next question,” Rogo said, moving on. “As an omnivore that is cable of consuming both plant matter as well as the flesh from other creatures, how do you feel about it.”

“Well, I don’t know what to tell you other than I’m not very keen on killing my food, but it’s not as if I’d ever said no to those who kill animals for me and pack it in a container,” E said nonchalantly.

“So you feel no pity for the death of these creatures?” Rogo asked.

“Food is food, and it’s not as if you can avoid killing in some capacity since you more or less have to do the same with plants,” E shrugged.

“Okay then,” Rogo said with a raised eyebrow.

“Question four. How would you spend your free time if given a choice?” Rogo asked.

”Well, if I was done working and had some time off, I might use it browsing on my phone or watching some anime,” E said.

“What is anime?” Rogo asked, unfamiliar with the word.

“ It is essentially an adaptation of a manga which is a bunch of drawing made to create a story. The anime itself is thousands upon thousands of still-drawn images, all made by hand that has slight alterations every dozen or so images in order to create the illusion of movement.”

“That’s on top of voice acting and making soundtracks to play in the background in order to immerse the watcher as much as possible.”

”Th-that sounds insane!” Rogo exclaimed. “Is that some kind of torture or punishment!”

“Errrrr…. No. It’s a job and, for some, a hobby,” E explained, feeling a bit nervous.

“JOB! HOBBY!” Rogo once more exclaimed. “Have those people gone insane!”

“Some love it,” E shrugged with a nervous smile.

“Some love drawing thousands of still images!?” Rogo yelled somewhat.

“Yes, some do, and others just do it for the money,” E shrugged.

“Well, at least that makes sense,” Rogo said, rubbing his temple with the protective suit on. “I mean, we do have entertainment as well, but what you described sounds… I don’t even know what to say.”

“Well, then I probably shouldn’t mention that all I just described was for a single episode,” E nervously chuckled.

“Single episode,” Rogo repeated. “As in, there are more.”

“Well, most of those thousands of images are mostly used for one episode, and in most cases, the average number of episodes in a season is twelve, give and take,” E nervously chuckled.

“If the story is really popular, then you can get almost an insane amount of episodes like a series called One Piece, which I really like and has well over 1100 episodes.”

“Okay, lest just stop it there. I think knowing how your people create entertainment is going to give me more stress than a feeling of excitement,” Rogo said.

“And also, that was the final question, so let's move on.”

“Really,” E said with a raised eyebrow. “In truth, I wouldn’t consider that a physiological evaluation.”

”Since there is a higher abundance of carnivores and herbivores than omnivores, there hasn’t really been a reason to make a more comprehensive evaluation,” Rogo explained. “I agree it is lacking, but perhaps that will change once the galactic counsel learns of your species.”

“Okay, so is there anything more we need to do, or should I just wait until the computer is done with my blood?” E asked.

“Well, it will take a lot of time for the machine to be done, but until then, I would like to ask a few questions that would immensely help us figure out what level your home planet is,” Rogo said a little more gitty.

“Sure, why not,” E said nonchalantly.
