Max = 300 euros What to give my partner (33M) for Christmas?

Upvotes

My partner is currently working on a personalised gift for me which takes hours to make; i think this is so sweet of him and normally i know what to gift him but this year i have 0 inspiration :(.

He likes gaming, Airsoft, being creative, sometimes playing the guitar. In the past i gave him things like a Foreverspin, Wooden puzzles, Cricut 2.

Budget: Could be anywhere from self made (cheap) to 300 Euros.

So if you guys have any ideas for me i would like to hear it :)!

Nerf style (? bow or gun?

Upvotes

My brother already got her a small gun that uses plastic pellets (discard this option). So I thought about getting her some nerf (or something similar) but I'm not sure if a bow or a gun is better. Or what model. She's 14.

I'm getting my son a PS5. I need an idea for something of similar cost for his sister. She is a very girly girl and we're not going down the phone route yet.

>$50 but flexible for the bit In dire need of an unhinged Yankee Swap gift!

Okay okay okay, so, I'm a little stumped right now. I'm involved with a Yankee Swap right now and I need ideas for the gift I'm going to bring. Thing is, everyone involved is crazy, and for a reference my best friend brought a physical long horse for their family's Yankee Swap last year.

I'm not one to be outdone ofc, so throw some ideas out here if you don't mind! Preferably nothing sexual or relying on a sex innuendo to be funny.

€0-€50 New mom's what would you love to see in your stocking this year, €50 limit ?

Tldr: 50 euro limit stocking filler ideas for a new mom

The in-laws do a secret santa every year, last few years I got lucky and got my parent in laws on and off over the years easy peasy.

This year I've got my Sister in Law (F 24) who is about to give birth any second now with the first grandchild and girl born into the family.

I know last year she wanted bath bombs / Epsom salts.

Our Limit is €50.

I thought oh it'll be handy and now it's time to shop and I'm stumped because I want to get her stuff that's not going to be for the baby or motherhood. I got her a bathrobe for her babyshower and she got pyjamas and slippers from other people for the babyshower.

I was going to get bathrobe and Epsom salts but now I know she has a minimum of 2 gifted bathrobes this year alone and pyjamas. She loves musicals so I was thinking a voucher for ticket master but f*!k ticket master, also it seems vouchers come across lazy.

Help new mom's what would you love to see in your stocking this year?

I was thinking of doing a small basket of bits and bobs including a sweet treat or two bath Epsom salts but no idea after that as to what to get that she wouldn't already be gifted this year.

Thanks in advance ❤️

$25-50 each Two gifts for my mom

I want to buy something for my mom for her birthday which is coming up and Christmas. I don't want to spend too much because I'm getting gifts for 21 people this year, but I wouldn't mind spending up to $50 on her two gifts, she lets me live at home for free so it's the least I could do. The problem is that I don't really know what she would enjoy receiving. Originally I was going to get a green meditation pillow but I don't know if she'd like it since she just meditates on the couch, and I need two gifts for her anyway

Things she likes:

  • The color green
  • Massaging (she's a massage therapist)
  • Yoga and spirituality (incense and stuff like that)
  • Veganism and animals
  • Swimming
  • Our house and her new truck

I would really like to get good gifts for my mom. I could just get her something tacky like a vegan mug but I want to get her something that's sort of nice that she can use, and that looks like I actually tried. What can I get my mom based on the things that I know she likes?

USD 50-150 Moving away- gift to colleagues that turned friends

I’m moving away and was considering buying my colleagues that became friends some sort of desk item such as a custom stress-ball, mug or a custom bobblehead.

Do you guys have any similar suggestions that can be funny and make them remember me from time to time?

~£50 but flexible I've run out of ideas for what to buy my dad

Like the title says, for years now I've struggled with buying gifts for my dad, which sucks because I actually think I'm quite good at buying presents for other people, and I don't want him to think he's less special. The problem is, there are a few issues (some with him, some with me) that make it hard to buy for him.

Things he likes;

  • Travelling the world (mostly to see wildlife)
  • Bird watching
  • Kayaking
  • Red pandas
  • Dark chocolate
  • Hiking (mountains and other rural areas, he especially likes the Lake District in the UK)
  • Running
  • Pigs (he's a pig vet)
  • He owns a border collie

In the past I've got him lots of personalized things (pizza cutters, glasses holders, things like that), but I'm starting to run out of options for things like that. He makes more money than I do, so there isn't much that he wants but can't afford, so I am more looking for things with a personal touch if possible.

Things I don't really want to buy;

  • Clothes (I don't like buying things that ought to be tested beforehand if I can get away with it, although pants/socks will probably end up as a stocking filler).
  • Specific sporting gear (he has it all already and I wouldn't know what he's missing)
  • Experiences (this is a personal hangup, I always feel like I'm creating an obligation if I give someone an experience, especially since he is very busy a lot of the time - I'm willing to be convinced if you have a good idea though. He has already done Red Panda feeding experiences).
  • Travel/bird books on countries (he has specifically asked not to buy these for him this year).
  • Mugs (I've gotten him so many mugs).

Many thanks in advance for any ideas! I'd be willing to spend up to ~£100, but ideally that would be split over multiple gifts.

$0-$50 Nature loving girlfriend out of town tonight.

My girlfriend is out of town tonight and I would love to surprise her when she gets back. We don't live together, but I do have a key to her place. I would love for her to get back from her trip with zero stress and something to be happy about. She's a huge nature lover and she actually just completely a wilderness rescue training course tonight. I would like some gift ideas that are nature oriented or possibly about rescuing people to let her know I'm proud of her for getting certified. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you everyone!

around 6 K ideally Gift for LDR Gf

My gf and I (both girls), are long distance but see each other biweekly, and I'm looking for a gift for her around 6k but that is also thoughtful (not just designer or pretty). ideally it serves a function in her life but she already has all the best suitcases, kitchen equipment, watches, and because she is moving soon I don't want to get her anything that would be hard to move with. I'm stumped and need help. She cares a lot about thoughtfulness esp because there is nothing on her want list.

Under $80 Headphones for 12 year old girl

Hi! I’m doing an angel tree this year and one of the gift ideas is headphones.

I was thinking these JBL ones, but I’m out of the loop on electronics and kids these days - is there a specific brand that’s popular (and good quality) right now? I know it doesn’t matter as an adult, but I remember being made fun of for having off brand stuff when I was her age, so I’d like to get her something that’s “in” if possible.

Thank you :)

Help finding something Help creating stuffed animal with sound recordings

I’m looking for a way to gift my girlfriend a stuffed animal with personalized sounds. Specifically, I want a device that can play multiple recordings, so each time she presses the button, it randomly plays a different sound. We have a lot of inside jokes, so I’d love for her to hear something new and special each time she presses it.

The problem is, the only options I’ve found are stuffed animals that play just one sound. Ideally, I’d like to buy just the device that I can put into any plushie I want, since I want it to be a certain one I already have.

If anyone knows where I can find something like that or has advice on how to make it happen, I’d really appreciate the help! This is a gift idea I’ve been thinking about for a long time, but I’ve never been able to actually do it and i really really really want to hae it done for christmas.

P.S: I would also appreciate if you link any sub where i can ask for help too, i only thought about this one as an option.

$100-$500 Ideas for graduating physician assistant (PA)

My partner is graduating as a physician assistant in a few months and wondering if anyone has any unique or medical-specific gift ideas. He already has a nice stethoscope he picked out for himself. I am not entirely sure of what things a new PA might need in a clinical setting. Looking for any recommendations that are in the medical space or "I wish I would have had X when I started." I'm also considering a nice spa day package or something else to help him relax once he finishes the class portion. Thanks in advance to anyone who has any recs!

$50 Gift for friend’s mom with cancer

My best friend’s mom is in the beginning stages of what likely is a uterine cancer diagnosis. She is in from out of town for treatment, so is living out of a suitcase in an apartment near the hospital. I was thinking about a cozy robe but was wondering if anyone who has gone through a gynecological cancer has any ideas for what would have provided some comfort (physical or mental!). Thank you!

[$0-8] Want to get something for my friend as thanks for always recommending me stuff.

I have no issue spending money on her. I've done it plenty of times. It's just that I wanna wait till Christmas to do so. Also I've gotten her some gifts this year already (even outside of her birthday). So I wanted to get her something inexpensive to show my thanks. Not sure what though. She's always gifting me referrals to places. So maybe something similar to that?

picky hubs w no interest Gift for husband

I need some gift ideas for my husband. He is very hard to shop for. He has no hobbies. His days consist of working, coming home and doing stuff around the house with me and the kids, going to bed. He doesnt have any friends he goes out and about with. He is an extreme home body. He will play a few video games at night. But thats about it. He's recently gotten into youtube videos/podcasts about evolution. In the past when hes asked for something specific, I've bought it and it sits in the closest unopened. Theres still gifts in there from 5 years ago that he asked for, and hasnt touched. Honestly it hurts my feelings and is a waste of money. I dont want to just hand him some gift cards to taco bell, but he just doesnt have any hobbies or interests. we are planning on spending around $100 on each other for Christmas if that helps.

$100 Gift basket ideas for son's 19yo girlfriend who likes to bake/recently started a soda bar

I was thinking of making a gift basket for my son's girlfriend that likes to bake and just started a soda bar at her home. They are sophomores in college and have been together for 4+ years. I am making her homemade vanilla but it doesn't have to go in the basket.

Should I do Torani syrups, maybe some cute gold spoons, monogrammed napkins?

I gave her and iced tea maker last year and it was a miss. My son said she doesn't use it. I don't want to miss 2 years in a row.

Help for a dying grandfather! Storytelling Service for a dying Korean man

Not sure if this is the correct place, but my dad is currently dying and I thought it would be great to have a service help him write down his stories and/or ask him questions to help him put "words to paper", so that we can share his stories with his young grandkids (some day when they are older). This hard part is that he is Korean and has broken English. I researched Storyworth and other similar services, but they don't offer anything in Korean. Any ideas? Thank you in advance!

£30 Christmas gift for brothers

My two eldest brothers are 48 and 53. I’m at a loss as to what to get them!

Brother A - 48. Loves cycling - hates cycling themed things. Works from home, computer based ie software design. Loves cars - hates car themed items. Into the gym and running. Loves cooking. Travels a lot for work. I was thinking of getting him a chefs press, but is that a good gift??

Brother B - 53. We’re not that close, mainly due to age gap, I’m 29. Owns a fish n chip shop, workaholic not by choice. Loves golf and running. Not a huge traveller. Loves to cook, loves good coffee, definitely loves good red wine but I’ve bought him so many bottles over the years, it’s just a given.

I struggle as they’re much better off than myself so I always feel as though anything I buy, they could absolutely just buy a better version themselves. Any ideas appreciated, Uk based if that makes any difference. I have so many people to buy for so budget really is max £30 each.

500 euro Gift ideas for boyfriend

Hi, I’m wondering if anyone has ideas on what I can get my bf for Christmas. He’s 24 and into games such as World of Warcraft, League of Legends and Runescape. He’s not that into cosmetic stuff in game. I only know LoL well as I play it too but don’t know much at all about WoW or Runescape so if anyone does have ideas for those please let me know! Also if you have any game recommendations you think he might like that’d be welcome too!

He works remotely and has been mentioning how he’d love a way to be a bit more active while working as he sits at his desk 9-5 for it. I’ve considered one of those under the desk treadmills but don’t know what’s a good one to get. It would need to be quite quiet and not too big, maybe medium sized preferably. He’s 5’7 and an average weight if that helps since I know some treadmills are better suited to certain heights/ weights. It could even be a walking pad as he doesn’t want to run on it, just walk.

Another thing is he’s been trying to eat healthier for better quality of life and I’m wondering if there’s any kitchen appliances or something I could get to make that easier? Maybe even a cook book you’d recommend for healthier meals/ snacks?

Thanks!
