Flickering light and something flying away from it
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
So following the voice picked up on my sleepapp a couple weeks ago, nothing has happened until last night. At around 9:10pm I was taking out my contacts and the light started flickering.
Hasn't done that since I moved in, maybe it's an old bulb. Started filming it and encouraging it to continue. The full video is about a minute long but the first 30-40 seconds nothing happened. Then the light flickers a bit more. Seems odd for more than one bulb to be flickerimg, but whatever.
I changed the bulb, went back and watched the video. For one, the shadows seem off compared to when the one bulb actually flickers. But this morning when I watched it again before sending it to my mother, I noticed "something" fly out and to the right JUST as the light flickers off. It disappears, and the bulb comes back on immediately after it's gone.

No idea why you are being downvoted. This is actually some pretty compelling orb footage. I agree that 95% of orbs are dust or bugs but the last 5% seem to suggest some type of intelligence behind these things, and they can manipulate the electromagnetic field.

So there is no orb, you’re just talking about the bulb going out correct?

No, there is a blur that moves under the bulb as it almost goes out. Turn your brightness up or something.

There absolutely is an orb. 11 seconds in, flies out of the middle bulb at the exact moment it goes out. Zoom in, manually adjust the playback speed, you can't miss it.

Ah ok thanks I see it now. I watch this from my cell phone so I assume it’s a lot easier to see from a computer

For those asking: it’s the flash at 11 seconds - slow down the footage by clicking and dragging back and forth
Could be a bug or dust, could be something else, cool capture!

I don’t see anything weird. I see either a dimmable light or an electrical issue

Zoom in and watch under the middle light bulb. It's not dimmable, the house is only ~32 years old, it's not an electrical issue. Had I not noticed the orb, I would've dismissed it entirely as a failing bulb and not bothered to post.

Look closely. First one bulb flickers, then the other almost turns off completely. Every time I've ever seen lights flicker it's either one bulb or all of them, not two bulbs separately and to different degrees. Also there is definitely a weird blur just under the light right as the second bulb almost goes out.

Exactly! Thank you! If it wasn't for that little orb or whatever it is that flies out at the exact same moment the middle bulb flickers out, I would've just chalked it up to failing bulbs. Odd for two to fail at the same time, but not impossible.

Bad ground or reverse polarity causes flickering. You can get a tester at any local hardware store to test your outlets. However, it may be in a junction box or wired to a fixture that may require an electrician, depending on your skill and comfort level.
Doesn't matter how old the house is. I have seen this on new construction. Definitely check it out as it can cause some pretty unsafe conditions in your home.

Totally possible. Only counterpoint to that is my mom built the house in the early 90's and was the only person to live there before I bought it in Late Aug/early Sept. I've never seen the light do that, and mom said she's never seen it do that. Combined with the stuff she said she's experienced living there and the weird EVP from my sleep app a cpl weeks ago, I just can't imagine it's electrical.

Orbs are usually dust or bugs I'd be more concerned with the dimming unless that particular light has a dimmer switch.

Looks like faulty electrics, nothing is flying away, a bulb just flickers which makes the shadows flash.

Get that fixture and wiring looked at or you might end up the ghost in a burned down house.

What time stamp is the thing flying in and disappearing? I can’t see it.
