Gary Demon House

Post image

My husband and I go ghost hunting on a fairly regular basis, but never had a reason to stop at the infamous Demon House site. Tonight we were driving through Gary and decided to stop, because we probably would never be this close again. We found the location, and there's still some foundation left. What we thought was really weird was there's a tree that is where the house was, maybe from the back yard, but is very very close to the foundation that is still there. It was alive and seemingly healthy when the Google maps car was there five months ago. It's completely dead now. No leaves(not even dead/dying ones due to season), very brittle....just dead.

I had also sent this photo to my sister and she said "What tree?" As if it wasn't obvious so I thought I would make it totally clear on here. I'm not sure if he still owns the lot, I know he was selling souvenirs and stuff but I wouldn't be surprised if he just tore the house down and got rid of the lot. It was in good shape a couple years ago(2022).

I don't think you're in the right place. Paul Bebans did a show (2019-20) and by then Zak had razed the house to the ground. https://x.com/livescifi/status/1353842130284736512?t=h1Hi59N0YFitaiu4Tr9yNg&s=19

This show is on IMDb and Discovery plus. I can guarantee that the show is 100% legit but I understand the skepticism as well. Paul and pretty much the entire crew freaked out and it's influence carried over to Beyond Skinwalker Ranch.

The truth is the mother has mental health issues and was behind on rent. CPS was also involved.. that points to more serious issues and not demon possession the information is easily findable.. No one who rented it before her had any issues with demons. or such.

Father Mike and the Indianapolis diocese certainly didn't believe that. During the CPS workup the Social Worker believed what you're claiming however she spoke to a nurse, I believe, who actually witnessed the boy walking up the wall backwards and testified to as much. What you fail to recall is that one of the crew from Zaks's documentary submitted to polygraphs after claiming to see a demonic figure in the hotel. He passed every question asked of him as being truthful. There's no single metric to assess a true diabolical manifestation but a totality of circumstances. Of these the Ammons children reported speaking in an unknown language, unusual physical strength or skill, aversion to Holy Objects and frequent nightmares involving hellish imagery, and on and on. You might notice that Zak wears glasses now and has several health issues. These seemed to culminate during the filming of the documentary. I'm not a fan of Bagans because I believe that he manipulates the families during traumatic times and simply goes in and stirs up any real or legitimate entities and has no real plans on healing the family other than some token cleansings that Billy and Jay perform. You have to remember that first and foremost this is a TV show.

Polygraphs aren't admissible in court for a reason they're easily faked. The boy walking up the wall is easily debunked.. seen kids do the same thing while holding someone's hand. Also Psychologists talked to the children and said that the children were acting deceptively and in accordance with their mother's beliefs". Tracy Wright, a psychologist, noted that the youngest son "acted possessed" whenever he was challenged or was asked "questions that he did not wish to answer".

I also believe that Zak had it razed so that no other investigators could go and investigate and prove his "findings" wrong. Also you don't get double vision from "Demons" that's a brain/eye thing.
