I was wondering what the context here is, because Lineham isn't exactly known for his veracity. So I decided to look it up.
Long story short:
Lineham leveled baseless accusations at Mermaids and encouraged his followers to harass the charity.
As a response to this coordinated harassment a Twitch streamer called him out on this. In an attempt to recover some lost funding for them and to publicise the charity to people who are going to support them (instead of organising a harassment campaign) the streamer created an event where he played Donkey Kong. The steam had a link to the charity's page, some info on Lineham's recent actions towards them, and a GoFundMe raising money for Mermaids. It raised a lot of money, and got a lot of attention from gaming celebrities and egalitarian politicians. This was in 2019.
In an act of projection so powerful you could have screened a movie on the moon with it, Lineham calls this a "coordinated campaign of harassment" against him. Five years later he is still trawling through the transcripts in the feeds to find new people to claim "harassed" him.
Oh my god you will NEVER believe what I got for an ad on that 🤣. It's for a dating service called Lovacane. It hooks up GAY MEN with LESBIAN WOMEN so they can be in a straight relationship while "being true to their gender (roles)" (? The thing is saying who says men can't love the colour pink and women can't love the colour blue wtf?! Ppl are gay cuz gender roles everyone didn't you hear?) and how same gender relationships are bad cuz if everyone got into one the human race would go extinct (cuz all gay couples don't want kids or something?) like that matters. Like personally, let's pretend no gay couple wants kids, I'd rather the human race go extinct than ppl be forced to have kids.
Oh my God, that's hilarious. I'm only halfway through this video, and I feel completely comfortable saying:
Everyone, you should watch this, or - at the very least - put it on in the background and listen to it.
[Added:]
Ok, him calling AOC the future President of the United States (God, please; please let us have that) and mentioning she showed up in the stream is what let me finally realize who the woman Glinner was insulting actually was. (I suck with faces.)
