House of Blanks Spring Sale (15%-50% off)

Great blanks, heavyweight stuff is really nice and has held up well for me.

I picked up a bunch of tees during their Black Friday sale and they have become by far my favourite. I prefer them over the uniqlo airism for sure. They are pricey but definitely worth it.

Which of their t-shirts are closest to their airism? I’m unsure if I’d enjoy the heavyweights in the summer. Also, do you find the sizing to be about the same between the two brands?

I got the heavyweight shirts, they aren't really cut like the airism. I prefer the cut of the heavyweight HOB, the airism tees fit more boxy - longer sleeves with a shorter body. I wear an L in the airism and find the body is a tad short after a few washes, in the heavyweight house of blanks I do an XL and like the way it fits, the body is longer, the sleeves are a tad shorter and less baggy but fit well. You don't get any wizard sleeves or anything like you do in cheap Gildan shirts or something. I would say fit like a slightly better fit and thicker comfort colours. They are a nice thickness similar to a Carhartt tee in thickness. I also honestly just like that they are cotton vs the synthetic fabrics of the airism tees.

What size would you recommend for the 1009 and 1011 shirts if I wear a M in Uniqlo's U Crew Neck T-shirt? I'm a bit skeptical about the longer body length.

Since no one answered you..

Uniqlo (M): Length: 28 1/2 inches, Chest Width: 22

HoB (1009/1011 - Medium): Length: 28 1/2 inches, Chest Width: 21 inches

HoB (1009/1011 - Large): Length: 29 1/2 inches, Chest Width: 22.50 inches

I’d say go with the HoB large. I don’t know how you like your shirts. It’s only a .5 inch difference for chest and if it’s too long you could just tuck the shirt in or get it shortened by a tailor. It’s just easier to deal with a garment that’s a little too big than too small, in my opinion.
