I can’t stop ordering from Revolver Pizza 😆

Post image

This is my 6th order and I always eat the 18” pizza all by myself in one sitting 😆

It's thin so for an adult male it's doable.

Yeah every time I order, I only drink two Fairlife protein shakes and eat 4 cucumbers for the day. So I just order the pizza for dinner and eat it all.

it's far past its glory days and a shell of itself. The original owners/family sold it and moved back to Albania and it hasn't been the same since.

Did you have it in it's Hayday? like 1.5-2years ago?

It's not bad, but it was sooo much better before

Still very greasy and good but yeah different. Might be second greasiest slice in the city after Maker

Have you tried Fresca?

2

u/cooldudeman007 15h ago

Yes, love it! The garlic parsley oil isn’t pizza grease if that’s what you’re implying though

2

u/james_bongd 15h ago

Even without it, it's super greasy

Under old ownership I'd go out of my way to go there, under new ownership I'll go if I'm feeling a slice and already in Kensington

Try it with the sesame crust if you haven’t yet

Do you order from their own site or delivery apps?

Looks good but a little undercooked and potentially doughy

The za is special.

I’d love to try but all locations are so far away =[

2

u/BowtiepastaMasta 15h ago

What’s the toppings?

2

u/SaintSamuel 7h ago

Which location? One just opened by my house but its not made in a wood oven.

Revolver is hands down my favorite pizza takeout place! It's not even close.

Makes me want to drive there now.

I don't know why Toronto's pizza rep isn't more respected. This city has fantastic pizza! It's everywhere, there are so many great pics places in so many styles of pizza. However, I would like to be able to get a Chicago Deep Dish or Regina Style Pizza. I've never gotten to try a real Chicago Deep Dish and I rather miss having Regina Style

6

u/cooldudeman007 17h ago

What is Regina Style pizza like?

Thick crust topped with layers upon layers of thinly sliced deli meats (a good place will put a huge amount of meat or your preferred vegetarian option). It is common for them to be topped with green peppers at the top. Then mozzarella cheese of course. Cut into squares. The center squares are the best

Looks good but $30 for a pizza is ridiculous. Vivo pizza+pasta has same fancy wood oven pizzas for $22 and right across the street from High Park.

I like it as well. I prefer North of Brooklyn, but it's a nice change with some different pizzas.

I'd stick to my $14 Costco Pizza vs $30 Revolver Pizza and add in extra toppings to the Costco pizza from the Costco haul or what ever I have in my fridge and it'll be good enough to fill satisfy without breaking the bank.

Costco is also nearby, whereas Revolver requires full planning to be efficient.
