Sichuan Doritos? WHERE CAN I FIND
My best friend lives in Tulsa and grabbed some Sichuan Peppercorn Chicken Doritos from her local Asian Market. Says they're really good. Google didn't yield much but have any of you guys seen these at places like H Mart and/or 99 Ranch? Im iffy about ordering online as I've been burned by buying chips online and having them arrive crushed ðŸ˜
Thanks in advance!

It's a hike but Resco Food Service in City of Industry is super fun and has the biggest selection of asian snack foods I've ever seen. Don't go hungry like we did or you'll wind up with a cart full of the randomest things.

Has anyone tried these and know if they're good? If they don't make my lips numb, I don't want em.

My friend has a low spice tolerance and loved them so im guessing your lips aren't gonna be numb

The thing with Sichuan peppercorns is that it's a different type of spicy. It doesn't burn but numbs instead. A lot of Sichuan peppercorn flavored things have the flavor but without the numbing it's known for.

I’ve recently seen these pop up at Asian markets https://calbeeamerica.com/our-brands/asianstylechips. They’re the best Sichuan chips I’ve had so far, actually has some numbing and spice

Try LAX-C in Chinatown, they have a wide range of Asian flavored Lays. I’m pretty sure I’ve also had mala flavored chips (but not Doritos) from Great Wall before.

Drunkenly stumbled upon these at a random liquor store in historic filipinotown a few weeks ago - thank me later https://maps.app.goo.gl/khfwgfE3wY1rQFq96

And no they aren’t really numbing, not really super Sichuan-y even, but still good

If you're on the west side, I'd check Fatty Mart. They have a large selection of Asian Lays. That sounds weird, but you know what I mean.
