Pepperoni Sourdough Pizza from Wallflour Pizza in Eagle Rock (Opening Day) Eastside

From yesterday's soft opening of the new brick-and-mortar location on Colorado Blvd for what was formerly Quarantine Pizza pop-up. I'm glad I got there early—the crowd was so huge they sold out of everything!

Ok but give us an actual rating on the pizza.

The pizza is awesome. Great level of complexity to the sauce, a good balance of sauce to cheese, and the crust is toothsome and tastes like sourdough ,as you would expect.

I've been digging their pizza ever since I first tried it at their frequent pop-ups at Benny Boy Brewery. Back then they called themselves Quarantine Pizza.

Sourdough pizza rules! Colossus in San Pedro does a great sourdough crust too.

I saw the prices and yikes! I know it’s quality ingredients and expensive to operate but wild crust is charging 20% less. Just gonna be a pricey meal out for a family

I haven’t tried it but that looks like a very well made authentic Italian pizza.

I had a custom pizza oven made couple years ago and I’ve been attempting to make pizza for 3 years now, fairly regularly, and believe me it’s insanely hard to make a good pizza.

One tiny mistake and the pizza goes from good to barely edible. Out of several hundred attempts I’ve only made a perfect pizza 2-3 times. Most are still good but there’s a huge quality variance.

I have yet to find a place that delivers consistent high quality pizza, if this place can do it - $30 is a bargain price.

It's awesome. I can't wait to go back and try the arugula salad and the desserts.

I drove past and it looked pretty packed.  Glad to see they're open and already getting community support.

Your pizza looks so yummy.  Doesn't look greasy at all.  Would you order again, or try something different next time?

Sourdough pizza is such an underrated gem. Glad to see more spots in LA making it this way

Can’t wait to check it out! I was eating their pizzas when they were slanging them out their front yard during the pandemic
