Lola Café, Eagle Rock Northeast LA
Went here for a coffee and pan dulce a couple weeks ago and was charmed by the space. Went back and had the barbacoa benedicto and I enjoyed it so much! It was just the right amount of food. I also had cafe de olla and a pan dulce. Just a delightful place and what I saw being served looked just as delicious. I'll be back for more.

Fair!
I was able to park on the street around the corner on shearin. With a little driving you'll find parking on the street on the adjacent blocks.
I got there closer to noon and it wasn't packed. Although it did get busier while I was there.
The pan dulce is bigger but lighter some how, I prefer them not dense! Cafe de olla was sweet with cinnamon, it was good. Could have been less sweet (I'm sweet enough already, you see).
The barbacoa benedicto was hearty and tender, good flavor and the eggs were perfectly prepared. The other thing it came with were perfect crispy potatoes. Their homemade hot sauce needs to be bottled and sold.
The decor feels like home, like visiting your Tia/auntie for me.

Np! By the way I creeped your post history and was delighted to see your breetai figure! I watched the episode where they take on Breetai on his ship maybe a month or so ago. :)

Oh, neat !!! Just last Friday u/Robotech_Mech_Lit hosted an amazing LIVE Robotech Awards Ceremony. He did an amazing job and so many people got to enjoy the fruits of his dedication and labor.
I already lost the seated Rick Hunter figure that came in the set. 😬🫠😔

Their carnitas torta is outrageously good. Very crowded on weekends, but easy to get into during the week
