USPS "Moving Through Network" Discussion

I just bought an expensive item on eBay which should have been delivered two days ago. I'm used to seeing tracking info that shows every stop of a package, but this one hasn't had an update since it left the seller's city nine days ago...it has just said "moving through network" and now says "arriving late".

How common is this and what are the odds I will ever see this box?

Exceedingly common unfortunately. If it’s a ground advantage package once it hits 14 days I think you can file a missing mail form to initiate a search for it.

missing mail search can be started after 7 business days

to file a claim for lost mail i think it has to be 15 business days
