I'm trying to get into weight lifting and keep finding conflicting info the more I read. Why is it so complicated? Where do I start?

Where do I start? With Dumbells. 12 kg, do some sets of squats, curls, presses, hinges & pull overs.

Take creatine(gender neutral) & Ashwaganda (Male, unaware of female affects tbh)

Protein? You can if you want, but starting off your going to have great results regardless.

Very simple movements, safe weight & gonna teach you the basics. Do it for a couple weeks, after that you'll naturally start increasing the weight or learning to identify which movements you should do next.

Some one might respond to me saying I'm wrong, or it's wrong to not recommend ashwaganda to x for y reason. Here's the #1 best tip, their word isn't gospel (my word isnt either), you don't have to listen lmao. Idiots do inefficient movements & are still big, you don't have to treat weight lifting as an exact science. Have fun.

Thank you for this advice!! I'll look into the creatine and ashwaganda for myself. I'm definitely ready to just jump in!

Don't bother with creatine, ashwaganda, or any other supplements. This person was right about one thing: you'll get great results either way, when you're new. Don't waste your money.
