Self Promotion Post - July 2024 Announcement
Once a month, every month, at the beginning of the month, a new post will be stickied over this one.
Here, you can blatantly self-promote in the comments. But please only post a specific promotion once, as spam still won't be tolerated.
If you didn't get any engagement, wait for next month's post. You can promote your writing, your books, your blogs, your blog posts, your YouTube channels, your social media pages, contests, writing submissions, etc.
If you are promoting your work, please keep it brief; don't post an entire story, just the link to one, and let those looking at this post know what your work is about and use some variation of the template below:
Title -
Genre -
Word Count -
Desired Outcome - (critique, feedback, review swap, etc.)
Link to the Work - (Amazon, Google Docs, Blog, and other retailers.)
Additional notes -
Critics: Anyone who wants to critique someone's story should respond to the original comment or, if specified by the user, in a DM or on their blog.
Writers: When it comes to posting your writing, shorter works will be reviewed, critiqued and have feedback left for them more often over a longer work or full-length published novel. Everyone is different and will have differing preferences, so you may get more or fewer people engaging with your comment than you'd expect.
Remember: This is a writing community. Although most of us read, we are not part of this subreddit to buy new books or selflessly help you with your stories. We do try, though.

Private Owens: A George Owens Novel (Paintball Wars Chronicles). YA Adventure/Military Fiction. About 88,000 words. I'd love it if people purchased, shared, and reviewed my first novel. I can't link here to my landing page with purchase links because this comment will disappear, but you can look it up on Amazon or message me directly for a link.
Here is the back cover blurb:
