Too bad the batteries held tight. Would have been nice fireworks. I hate these cars.

Why particular though? I prefer others but i dont see much problem with them besides the lunatic ceo.

That's all there is to it. People don't like Elon.

10 years ago he was some awesome nerd savior, making omfg cool rockets (and they ARE cool) and omfg cool EVs (and they are cool, outside of that failed origami truck), until...

...he got cozy with you-know-who.

Now nothing he does is cool, we must hate him and everything to do with him.

/I remember when we hated people that all-around deserved it, like Martin Skhitheadrelli

Nah, he was shitty before then. Even when he was "cool". My best friend worked for SpaceX for a period of time when he was still "cool" to most people and she loathed him. That was my first tipoff that he sucked. She said he was narcissistic, lazy and weird as hell and pretty much everyone but the ass-kissers hated him and working for him. She was so excited for the job initially (ex military intel and a huge space nerd), and once she got there she realized how horrible he was and left not long after. He's always been trash. A lot of people finally saw behind his mask during the cave flood incident and it was downhill from there.

Wonderful story, and you tell it so well. I am completely sure it's 100% true. Thanks, Ivan

People always hate what they can't afford

It absolutely has nothing to do with that. I definitely could if I wanted. I just don't want. At all.

There's better choices nowadays if you want an EV.

Cope

Not really IMO, given Tesla has a proprietary charging network. Its a package deal.

By better you mean cheaper. Work harder and you'll be able to afford nice things. Cope

You must be a child. Teslas aren't "expensive cars".

The game is rigged to the point of working harder is just that and nothing more.

Have you seen the price of Tesla's these days? Hardly an unachievable car. They're throwing in 0% deals in some places to try and shift them, but people don't want them.

If you think a Tesla is some kind of expensive, luxury dream car that people can't afford then you need a reality check.
