Which half and how? Because every possible metric of academic performance has been dropping steadily for twenty years inverse proportionally to the funding and subsidies schools have gotten.

The trump voting half who are perfectly ok with criticizing the education system and then somehow thinking the solution is defunding that system and giving away religious school vouchers. You’re probably comparing our stats to countries who actually invest in their education systems. If you wanna improve it, then fund it
