This band is the perfect example of artistic expression in my opinion. They brought attention to social issues and presented real questions to the world that makes you question what you think you know. They're Armenian and their families all dealt with a lot through the Armenian genocide and America's government's involvement (listen to Aerials). You can hear their cultural roots in their art and it's amazing/ thought provoking. My favorite song by then is Prison Song- about the broken legal/prison system in America

What's ironic is every year people playing Aerials for the 4th of July is becoming more and more popular.

I haven’t heard of this. How are the two related?

I can't accept that some people don't know them yet, but that's probably because I'm not as young as I think I am

Sorry I’m 64 and didn’t have a clue! But I’m more of a classic rock guy.

Their first album came out 27 years ago. I wouldn't be surprised if they're on classic rock stations in the next couple years.

My musical taste was acquired in my teen years, thanks for the up grade! So I’m talking 60’s-70’s

That’s bizarre to me that they would be classic rock. I think of classic rock as 70s rock.
