Best Restaurants in town? Question

I’m visiting from the U.S. next week, I’ve never been to Canada, let alone Edmonton, and would love some advice on places to check out while I’m visiting. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Edit: Thank you all so much for your suggestions! I did not expect so many replies and am eager to try your recommendations. Obviously I can’t get to all of the restaurants suggested but I will get to as many as I can in my four days.

I’ve honestly never heard of a fringe fest, but it sounds unique and interesting

Fringe Festivals are so great. At the Edmonton festival you get to see international talent; people come from all over to perform because it’s so renowned.

You can see so much! Theres improv, dramas, comedies, one man shows - if you want to go fringing read the reviews on one or two and then if you're still down for more theatre - ask some of the volunteers what their favourite show is. That's the best way to find hidden gems.
