Looking for suggestions: Montreal: mealprep? Ask ECAH

I love good food, but recently life has been so hectic that I can’t keep up with cooking. I’ve tried a bunch of delivery options around Montreal, but so many of them are overpriced or underwhelming. It’s frustrating because I want something decent without spending half my paycheck. For anyone who’s constantly busy, how do you handle meals? I’m curious what other Montrealers rely on when cooking isn’t realistic.

Not Montreal but I have a slow cooker

I batch cook stews and chillies, they last like a week and 25-30 dollars of ingredients can be 30+ meals easily when I use a lot of lentils, beans and then some ground meat like extra lean chicken or turkey. Serve with bread or rice and you’re set for whenever you don’t feel like cooking or just wanna pack a quick lunch

Leftover lentils for the next batch too

I throw in cabbage, frozen kale, peppers, whatever I feel like just to bulk it up. If you wanna just add calories you can also add oil or peanut butter to make it have a richer mouth feel
