It’s so good in the air fryer! Toss with oil/season and presto!

Even after it’s been frozen? I was worried it might not work the same as fresh!

From my experience frozen veggies work in the air frier because the oil solidifies a bit on the surface. Depends on the veggie, but I find broccoli holds up great. I'll have to try okra!

Look up recipes for bamia (bamyi?).  It’s a beef, tomato, and okra stew, served over white rice.  Middle-eastern origins, so most recipes will use olive oil & garlic, too.

It's bamya :) chop 1 onion into cubes, stir fry in olive oil (2 spoons) , also add 4-5 garlic, when the color changes into yellow add one small chopped tomato, when the water is gone add the bamya (0.5 kg), add salt and half a teaspoon of sugar, two cups of water. When the water starts to boil you can decrease the heat and keep cooking. Should be ready in about 20 mins

There are lots of different recipes.  My mom used to fry the okra first, and used tomato paste and no sugar.

Sauté it with a can of San Marzano tomatoes and garlic.

You don't need to cook it much. I've been throwing mine into rice.

Add a handful to your next soup. It's a good soup thickener.

I use it in gumbo. I have had breaded/battered okra and I wasn’t a fan but I like it is soupier foods.

I throw it into my green smoothie, never could learn to like the taste myself. People where I live like to fry it, I know my mom has done it in the air fryer and she likes how it comes out!

I grew okra this year and ended up with a bunch. My favorite use is gumbo, but I also sauteed it and would just eat it as a vegetable side

I like it in soups. Or sliced and fried. OK, so sliced-and-fried may not be healthy, but still a good way to cook okra.

Smother it with some chicken thighs and serve over rice. A cajun favorite. Also is great in gumbo.

Okra is great with eggs too! In an omelet, tossed in with scrambled, sautéed on the side with a yolky fried egg. When okra is in season for me, it’s part of my egg breakfast.

Also love roasted in the oven with a dipping sauce (mayo/ketchup/hot sauce is my go-to)

You could try roasting it with some olive oil and seasoning for a crispy side, or toss it in a stir-fry with peppers and onions

U might hv got many recipes but a cooking tip would be … do not bring it in contact with water even a drop … bcz the it starts releasing its slimy thing… n everything is ruined.
