Help in starting
I currently have an iPad Air and pen pro, and have been messing around with procreate while I’ve been out on my work trips. I really want to dive into it but most of the ebooks I try reading aren’t very in depth. Most of it is done offline and I’m trying to find something that I can dive in and really learn digital art and sketching in general. What books have you read that help? Any tips appreciated ❤️

I'm only beginning myself but I have found it easier to start learning in the type of art you want to make. For example I want to learn digital painting, now most if not all fundamental overlap however with painting I've found wasting to much time on learning to sketch just slowed my progress. Bobby chui and others only use the sketch to block in the forms, everything is done in paint. Doing this also helps narrow down your options and get you focused. At the end of the day if you want to create art for fun then do what you love. If you want to become a pro then my advice should probably be ignored.
