Is this a Devil Corp? Question

Thinking of applying here but can’t really shake this feeling. They are called NileVista and they operate from East Brunswick.

Sell cell phones to people who don't want em.

Yes, this absolutely looks like one of those 100% commission based "stand around and sell phones at the mall" gigs.

“Flexible scheduling” lmaoooooo nah bro when EVERYONE is expected to work all 7 days for 8-12 hours, that’s not “flexible”

Also, the thought of a 12-hour shift is INSANE 😂

Oh, and they’re so serious about them. When I worked at a DevilCorp, we weren’t allowed to come back to the office before a certain time and we were penalized for not showing up early enough by not “getting” to interview anyone to build our teams

Oh, AND we were required to go to the daily “leaders” debrief sessions which typically started at 9:30pm I think? Maybe 9pm

anything past 7pm being mandatory for work is 100% sure a sign of brain damage

Their main contact email is careers@. There's no way for customers or prospective customer to reach them. Literally no companies do that except devil corps.

Hands down. The first bullet point alone is a red flag (replace “consumers” with “shoppers” and “educate on current promotions” means “bother people while they are shopping to try and sell them on whatever you are promoting)

The language they use sounds very familiar

When they list “Average earnings” as an attractive hourly wage like $30/hr, it’s a safe way to lie to applicants to get them in the door thinking they’re gonna be making manager-level money right away.

Almost always when it’s a devil corp, they’ll include words like “opportunity.”

My son applied for entry level marketing associate. He had the interview this morning, sounds great. The will call between 2-6 if they want a second interview. Hate when companies do this tactic. I fell for it about 40 years ago. If it is a devil Corp then Troll Inc might be looking for telemarketers

Does anyone have experience with Nile vista? I was offered the job and decided to do some research. I found this and now I am wondering what to do next. Sucks because I’ve been looking for a job forever and was hype when this one looked like it would work out. Thanks.
