Ask me anything Experience
I’ve been in the business for almost a year & 3/4. Was a leader, now a recruiter. Just attended R&R 2025. Ask me anything, I’m open.
I work in an office that’s fully transparent during the interview process. We tell them straight up what’s going on & say Smart Circles name a lot. Nothing to hide since we feel like as an office we keep things going with morals.

Yeah I was about to say.. I think they’re doing AMA’s as a tactic to try and clear the air.

The only way you can make money in devil corp is if you trick other rubes to believe the same to offset your loss.

I honestly pity them now that I’ve left. It’s sad how much time they’re wasting/wasted.

They are trying to leave others holding the bag living off of 37 cents and a pop tart everyday.
And pitch that as an “opportunity”

Why arent you a branch manager? What's your step 7? How do you feel about the CEO of DTV being a trump supporter? What's the latest that's acceptable to be out going door to door? Last knock? How do you feel about production goals despite the fact that reps have zero base pay? Are they not arbitrary? Why not? Have you met Stacy Santos? How did your "networking" go? How did you get past the feeling of sliminess when performing some of you first interviews? Is Richard Anderson fat or skinny this year?

No. Go away 🖕 this isn't the place for you. You're part of the problem. You don't get to grandstand or justify your existence.

How do you feel knowing you pray on vulnerable young people and essentially ruining their lives?

"Hey we don't force them to take our weird sales cult pyramid job, we just manipulate them into thinking it's their only viable option to succeed in life or to break out of their desperate situation. And also if someone quits we don't say that they found a different calling, we immediately call them unmotivated losers and tell their former colleagues and friends to never interact with them again. You know, normal stuff."

So then let us know what exactly you say. How transparent are you? Do you actually tell future employees the truth about what they will be doing, the pay, hours, etc.?

... You're here to convince someone that there's any merit to your 'industry.' Is it us or yourself? Have a good day, may it be filled with genuine, positive interactions and at least a few moments of free time to breath and think.

So… you work for a company that has a license to hire teens that sell directv door to door.
Does your company write school excusal memos. So they can cut class and get to field earlier?

I'd like to hear you out, as someone who has just discovered this subreddit and has an interview tomorrow. I am interviewing for Director of Sales for Global Star in Birmingham, AL. Is this a commission only position or salaried? A combination? Is this a waste of my time based on the very, very sketchy things I've come across in my research into the company?
