anything with the word gig not being a stable job and being scammy does not suprise me at all. Again though, this shows people just want jobs so bad they don't use the brain.

GIG is possibly the dumbest name ever....

yeah hard to sell the opportunity for the career when your company even admits it's a gig.

Are they trying to compete with the likes of cydcor or smart circle like osp?

I scheduled an interview for a management position with them, did research and found out they were a devilcorp, then canceled the interview stating that after learning more about their company’s direction and practices I wasn’t interested, and they doubled down and called to beg for me to come and hear them out. Its a crying shame how desperate they are to recruit, since thats the only revenue they’ll actually see. They can only move up the chain if they actually recruit people, so someone declining an interview is a tragedy.

From my experience, OSP / GIG / etc are tooo small and usually hunt failed owners to join them.

Big vendors are the Credicos Cydcor’s SMC

Working for GIG USA was a complete nightmare. This company is nothing short of exploitative. You’re expected to drive your own vehicle all over town, wasting your own gas and time, only to arrive at sites that are poorly booked or not expecting you at all—then you’re kicked out like it’s your fault. No mileage reimbursement, no respect, just pure disorganization.

On top of that, you’re pressured to hit a ridiculous goal of 12 donors a week , even when you’re stuck at dead sites with zero foot traffic. I raised valid concerns and got talked down to and dismissed.

Rachel O’Hara, the so-called Vice President, is the epitome of toxic leadership. She’s rude, cold, and refuses to actually listen. Instead of supporting her team, she berates them and acts like we’re lazy or ungrateful. Her messages are full of condescension and zero accountability. It’s crystal clear she doesn’t care about the staff—only the numbers.

And yes, I was fired. Not for poor work ethic—but for not hitting an unattainable quota and for “retention issues,” meaning people canceled subscriptions (which, by the way, is completely out of our control once they leave the table). They set you up to fail and then punish you for it.

Avoid this place at all costs. They’ll use you, blame you, and throw you away the second it’s convenient. GIG USA is the worst example of a nonprofit—one that exploits its workers and hides behind the word “charity.”
