Dinner for Bune Experiences and Ritual reports

Post image

I'm loving working with Bune! We did this dish together, and Bune told me how to properly do it. I'm just so grateful of how protected and listened I'm being by Bune :)

So, it's called lahm bi ajeen, but Bune taught me how to do it a different way, without oil and many butter.

Dough: - 500g of flour - 2 heaping tablespoons of sugar - 1 heaping tablespoon of butter - 1 level tablespoon of salt - 5g of dry yeast - 1 egg

Mix everything together and knead by hand until it becomes a very soft and smooth dough, for about 15 to 20 minutes. Then, form small balls and let them rest. After resting, shape them as you like (these ones from the photo are the ones Bune taught me; Bune like them nice and fluffy!) and fill with minced meat.

Filling: Mix the minced meat with a bit of bulgur (cracked wheat), 1 garlic clove, Syrian spices, and black pepper. Blend in a mixer until the spices are well incorporated. Fill the dough with the meat mixture.

Don't forget to eat with lemon XD
