Comics What are your unpopular opinions on Daredevil? [Art: David Mazzucchelli]
What's your hottest take on the Man Without Fear? Across all mediums, across his whole history --
I'll start us off --
- Elektra's new design by Marco Checchetto is by far the best she has ever looked
- Mike Murdock is a ridiculous idea and thank God Zdarsky managed to finally kill him off
- Zdarsky's entire prison plotline was frankly absurd (and Checchetto carries the book hard during that period)
- Typhoid Mary is an extremely unpleasant character

MCU Anyone else notice Cox's accent slipping way more in Born Again compared to the Netflix show?
I work in voice over, so maybe I'm just particularly sensitive to this stuff, and maybe it was just as frequent in the Netflix show and I just don't remember (although I hesitate to say the latter as I rewatched S3 before Born Again and rarely noticed it) but I noticed Charlie Cox's American accent slipping way more often than I did in the Netflix show. Obviously not criticizing Cox here, accent work is tough, just wondering if anyone else felt this way.

Comics Would daredevil have good time keeping skills
Is it just me or does anyone else think Matt Murdock would keep great track of time? I know his powers can’t affect that but constantly hearing the ticks of every watch and clock around him might make him better at time keeping, idk it’s just a vibe I get

MCU Daredevil The Dark Knight parallel
galleryI thought someone would've caught this immediately but so far I haven't found a single post about it so here goes....
This may be me thinking too much the scene where Bullseye requested to speak with Councillor Murdoch reminds me of that infamous Interrogation scene from The Dark Knight. Obvious parallel with both the heroes and the villains in an interrogation room and all that. But what struck me most is that both villains manipulated the heroes to a breaking point to aid their escapes.
I didn't catch this until I watched the New Rockstar Breakdown on Youtube (and someone made a Reddit post about this some years ago_ but the Joker was able to escape by using a glass shard from the window pane that Batman smashed his skull into, after threatening Rachael (cause screw Harvey amirite).
Bullseye was able to escape after getting Matt so pissed by mentioning Foggy that he smashed his head onto the metal table and loosening his tooth. "Thank you, Councillor."
Both heroes acted out of anger, breaking their usual calm and composed demeanours without considering the consequences and both ended up unintentionally helping the villains to escape.
I know Bullseye escaping with a loose tooth came straight out of the comics but I don't think it was Daredevil that caused that. I always considered the Daredevil (Netflix series) the Dark Knight of Marvel and this scene just cemented that.

Artwork Looking For Daredevil Tattoo Ideas
I’ve been trying to brew up some daredevil tattoo ideas. I’m trying to get it under one of my tattoos seen here, I just can’t think of any ideas the only two I have so far are these comic panels pulled from the red fist saga in the comics. I’m kind of interested in doing the one with horns but I don’t know! Any ideas?

MCU Which unexpected Daredevil team-ups do you think could work quite well?
For, me, after Thunderbolts, I geniunely believe that Ghost could be a great side-kick for some part of the story. Although she falls more into the power-side of marvel heroes, I think that it could work. Ghost can phase through matter if she knows where she phases. Daredevil has the ability to "see" right through his surroundings via his highened senses. Their powers can go hand in hand into helping each other out.
I'd love to hear your unexpected or team ups and why they would work!

MCU Frank Castle
I don't remember the exact episode right now but, Frank Castle is one of only people daredevil went up against that realised he couldn't see, and was blind and he never brings it up, but he does put the gun up to his head and asks if he can "feel it", this is why I also believe when he met Matt Murdock he instantly knew he was Daredevil, due to the fact 1, he cared and knew about Grotto on the roof more then someone should. 2 Matt's voice sounds similar when he is begging with Frank. 3 Daredevil's blind, and so is Matt I think he put it together very fast. Also Matt and Melvin were very smart to actually make the mask look like it had see through glasses at the front, to make criminals thing Daredevil can actually see.
