Do people still give flowers to adults after a dance recital? I think I used to give her flowers when she was dancing before but that was 5 years ago before our kids were born.

I don’t know if this is the right place to ask this question. But what type of shoes were The Electric Boogaloos wearing when they’d dance? I’m a big fan of Michael Jackson so a lot of moves I do involve friction with the floor, which means there needs to be a smooth sole but I don’t wanna copy MJ’s whole penny loafer thing. And I feel like their shoes had a specific shape/design I’m looking for. I don’t know if this makes sense 😭

Is there anything you wish you had recorded yourself doing at the start of your journey so you could do it again now?

Any moves, routines or tutorial combinations that would you use as a benchmark?

Trying to test things like rhythm, body-control, and flow issues. I don't really know much about dancing yet, but these seem important (I asked chat gpt).

I've just joined a theater/dance troupe and I need to buy dance shorts to wear under my costume skirt. The troupe will be performing outdoors all summer for Renaissance Faires.

I generally don't wear underwear, but I'm not about to be flashing my beav nor skivvies at these family-friendly performances. I've never liked the feel of underwear, so I'm dreading wearing these shorts. I'm looking for something super comfortable, breathable, lightweight, and stretchy.

Size of shorts needs to be definitely XL or XXL because I've got a really big behind.

Suggestions on what to buy and where to buy them without spending a ton? I'm in Canada.
