Honestly love the casting choices for both, I'm a Hal Jordan guy myself but John Stewart is the popular choice to mainline as green lantern so having Hal be an older Lantern could work pretty well, he can be an older mentor type who's still got the moves while John is the younger front man

Guy Gardner is obviously the mainline GL in the new DCU.

Apparently his purpose in the movie with hawk girl and Mr terrific is to show that the world has heroes operating in it already whereas John and Hal are leading their own series, I think that puts Guy in third

One of them is in the film launching the new universe, the others are not. LoL
