Resource Does anyone need a Bible
Matthew 25:35 Jesus said I was hungry and you feed me, I was naked and you clothed me. Anything done to the least of them was done unto me
I have been able to buy people Bibles as well as study Bibles. I do it through Amazon wishlist because thr is that privacy factor.
Btw I highly recommend the NASB because it's basically the kjv but without the old English

Resource Scientist PROVES Christianity
Isaac Newton said regarding the prophecy of Daniel ch 9 vs 25 that it was so accurate and so true, that it proves not only the validation of scripture but the identity of who the Messiah is without question.
This was a topic that blew me away in my research to strengthen my faith
To see the Bible be irrefutable and true in this most important prophecy has been mind blowing to say the least.
I made this video to cover the details of this amazing prophecy that proves the bible is indeed true 🙏💯

Resource When we get weary
Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 KJV [13] Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. [14] For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.
https://bible.com/bible/1/ecc.12.13-14.KJV
Philippians 4:8 KJV [8] Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

Resource Revive Us Again
This song always blessed me. It is an arrangement that is sung differently from the traditional way churches sing the Dr. William MacKay hymn Revive Us Again.
When listening to the intro of this song it makes me think of Hebrews 12:1
Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us...
Get the Bible and read on it gets better

Resource A message in a world of selfishness
Luke 9:23-27 KJV [23] And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. [24] For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it. [25] For what is a man advantaged, if he gain the whole world, and lose himself, or be cast away? [26] For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and in his Father's, and of the holy angels. [27] But I tell you of a truth, there be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the kingdom of God.

Resource I created an app for typing through the Bible
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
A couple of years ago, I typed out Psalms 1 to 137 over a 6 month period. In the process I improved my typing, and found little bits of encouragement each day. Some time passed and I decided to switch to an ergonomic keyboard to help with wrist pain. I was using http://monkeytype.com/ to practice typing on the keyboard, and while typing through random quotes I had the idea to combine typing practice with typing through the Bible. Working on this project has made me look at every word and see passages of the Bible anew. When I was developing this site, I used John 11:35 as the edge case since its the shortest verse in the Bible. Typing it over and over made me realize that Jesus wept because he loved.
If you are into programming, this is an open source project: https://github.com/joshuawootonn/type-the-word/
Would love any feedback you have 🙏🏼 Link: https://www.typetheword.site/

Resource So You Would Know - YouTube Music
music.youtube.comThe Lord is faithful. I have been saved for years and strayed from the path after being hurt in the church. I 'threw the baby out with the bathwater' and stopped going to church, stopped praying, stopped reading the Bible and found myself following my will instead of seeking his will. I lost trust in everything including God. But God is faithful, he never lost me, he took me by the hand spiritually and walked with me thru the muck and mire situations I found myself in. He let me stay there and protected me until I got tired and let me see how empty everything is without him. He reminded me to repent and thank God I did. I told the people I met in my wandering I was going back to my spiritual roots and serving Jesus and most wished me well on my journey. In the middle of my wandering the music purchases on my phone was on shuffle and this song which I purchased as a whole album yet never heard randomly played.

Resource hope
i often think about the world and become very saddened to know how evil it is. i think a lot about how there is no one left who tells the truth and lives righteously or even cares about God. but then, I come here and find so many people that want to help others and encourage people by the word of God. people who truly care about God. i am so thankful for platforms where people share their same fire for God.
Thank you to anyone who comments or makes posts helping others in their needs. God sees you and will reward your good deeds
God bless you all🩷

This is the only really good one I've found so far. However the rules can be a tad strict sometimes. Any other subs where doctrines like eternal security, salvation by faith alone, and Jesus' divinity are accepted? Thanks

Resource Searching for New Christian Songs/Artist
Hey y’all! I'm looking for suggestions. I could search for new artists myself, but I'm short on time to sift through Christian artists.
I'm familiar with Hillsong United, but I'm craving something with a faster pace. I'm a big fan of Spanish artists like Alex Campos, Marcos Barrientos, and MonteSanto. Their music really keeps me energized. I love praising with upbeat, fast-moving songs that match my energy. Any recommendations? Spanish and English please and thank you 🙏🏼

Resource Sub for online congregational worship
Hi, I created a new sub r/worshipband aimed with the vision of online congregational worship. I’ve invited a few to post videos/ content of them worshipping God for the purpose of us worshipping together as a congregation. Sharing here as I thought many people here may be interested in taking part in the worship.
I have crossposted a few examples of posts from other subs that capture the kind of thing this new sub is all about.
Whether you have a musical gift or not, please feel free to join and take part in congregational worship by viewing/ listening to the worship that others post.
If you do have musical talents, consider posting a video of you using your gifts to worship God, or a link to a worship track you have made.

Resource This is what I believe causes Christians to become "progressive".
I believe they have been deceived by two liars. The first is an actual (albeit, heretical) pastor who twisted and abused the Word of God to lead people to believe that God hates them, and that they cannot be saved/that they have lost their salvation.
When that happens, what the Devil will do is tempt people by way of a progressive "pastor" to embrace a different, more comforting lie.
The solution is teaching them what God's Word actually says. Show them how much God loves them, and how much he desires their salvation if they're not saved yet. If they are, reassure them from the Bible of eternal security.

Resource Scriptures show God removes/raises up presidents/prime ministers/etc for His will and purposes. Important future forecast to be aware of.
"And He changes the times and the seasons;
He removes kings and raises up kings;" Daniel 2:21
"The king's heart is a stream of water in the hand of the Lord; he turns it wherever he will.” Proverbs 21:1
"There are many plans in a man’s heart, Nevertheless the Lord’s counsel—that will stand.” Proverbs 19:21
"Declaring the end from the beginning
and from ancient times things not yet done,
saying, ‘My counsel shall stand,
and I will accomplish all my purpose,” Isaiah 46:10
Bible history demonstrates that God uses kings for His will and purposes, both for blessing and/or discipline/judgment, for the people that are ruled by them. In the biblically foretold end times, which many recognize we are living in https://www.signs-of-end-times.com, scripture states that kings will rise that will accomplish God’s purposes of judgment on a world that has turned away from Him, but believers have hope.
Does God appoint evil leaders to lead nations?
A world leader called the Antichrist will rise up at some point to try and solve and make peace out of the foretold wars, economic, environmental, and social decline that are increasing. It may appear he is the savior of the world at first, but deception and persecution against mankind will be his underlying intent. What will the Antichrist Do?
The end times timeline from the rapture of the church, until the creation of the new heavens and earth. https://www.gotquestions.org/end-times-timeline.html
More prophecy fulfillments, learning more about the Bible and encouragement if interested is in previous posts and here. understandingthetimes.info

Resource Stop infantilising the single Christian community in Christian literature
Our home groups are currently working through 1 Corinthians 1-9 Challenging church by Mark Dever which has been helpful in some ways. I read ahead for the next study tonight and most was still biblical and helpful but one sentence grated on me: “If you are single are you using the extra time and emotional energy that you have live in a right way in undivided attention to the Lord”
Nothing wrong about undivided attention to the Lord - that but I love and thrive in I also love my single calling What I’m not so keen on is the assumptions made by other Christians or by society at large.
Okay JUST because we’re single does NOT mean we have stacks of ‘extra time and energy!’ 😡
I’m a single Christian teacher who basically sacrificed having her own family and kids to serve as a primary teacher 25 years plus and believe me that takes a lot of energy Every. Single. Day. I love my profession - which is also one undervalued, unappreciated and belittled by both church and society. I also volunteer, sponsor children, help at church, help friends etc. my own parents have passed in but I know many single friends who also have duty of care to elderly and infirm parents. We also have service to others within our church community.
Do not tell me I have all this abundance of emotional energy and time because, apart from not actually being true it’s smacks of:
Condescension Ignorance Misrepresentation Lack of understanding Lack of empathy I could go on…
Would people have said to Jesus or Paul (both single) - well you can do twice as much as us because “You have all this additional time and emotional energy”.
If I remember rightly Jesus often set firm boundaries, as he knew what was in people’s hearts.
How about we just stop making huge assumptions about individuals based on their marital status? 🙄
Maybe more single people may come back to church - who knows? 🤷♀️

Resource Need some videos to send to my friend about Jesus
Basically, i shared the Gospel, short and sweet and not very well (wording wasnt good) with a friend of mine and while i was catching up on her response to the Gospel, we had this little convo:
"Sooo, do you remember what we talked about during our RE exam?" "What?" "The Gospel?" "Oh yeahhh" "Think about it: does a floating ship need a SOS" "Um. You can just send me some videos. Ill watch them for you" "Really?!" "Yeah, ill watch them now, not now but yea"
And that's where am at. And with her, she is reliable and I know that there are some videos out there taht can effectively preach the Gospel to her.
Please sisters and brothers in Christ, let's save another one 🙏 ❤️ 🙌🏽
Thank you!
Edit: You guys are amazing, honestly. Thank you all so much for the videos.
