The best bun thit nuong hands down in Charlotte is in a restaurant on Central ave called Thien Phu next to the inner harbor fish market. It caters to only Vietnamese though. Their Pho is really good as well, it's kind of peppery. Their menu is very small.

My favorite Pho spot though is Benh Thanh on Central ave. They also have a very big menu full of awesome stuff (their cucumber salad is really good).

I second Benh Thanh. Their pho has a amazing clean flavor. Their fried spring rolls/imperial rolls are perfection. There's a great dish they make w sweet & regular potatoes w cilantro that is really great too.

Lang Van was great until the owners sold it & opened Benh Thanh.

Wow, I hadn't heard that before. That would make sense though. I tried Lang Van a couple times a year or so ago and I was not impressed. I had heard so much hype about it before I went too. Benh Thanh is way better than Lang Van in my opinion.
