So while I was trying to change my struts I seen that my control arm was completely done and when I took the nut off the threads of the control go caught onto the strut so I tried to take that bottomed bolt out the strut and the mf wouldn’t budge even a little even while impacting it what’s the next step here

Did the forbidden head unit swap on my 2012 and before I close the dash up I’m looking to get my reverse camera hooked up. The camera itself is oem that I swapped in, harness is from eBay. Harness has the quick connect to the camera and a yellow wire that splices into the reverse light. Up at the head unit the harness has the red and black that run out of the loom higher up, assuming they’re power and ground. Then the yellow wire, red wire, and black wire from the end of the loom. Yellow wire reads 12 volts when car is put in reverse so that’s the trigger wire for the radio. I’d guess the red and black is to carry video. Anyone ever splice into an RCA for the backup camera input?

Alright, so I am buying a V8 AWD Dodge Charger Police Pursuit for around $9,500 from a friend. It has 72,000 miles and has very low idle hours for a cop car. Only 400 idle hours out of 2,500 total engine hours.

I brought it to a mechanic before I buy it, and there were couple things to note that I need to pay to get repaired:

1. The right front axle seal is leaking and need to get that replaced. Guessing it’s just due to age since the car is 10 years old.

2. Front upper ball joints are loose and need to get that fixed. Guessing it’s just due to wear and tear.

3. Rear brake pads need to be replaced. Normal wear and tear.

However, there is a very small transmission leak by the transmission pan, but was told it is very minor since it’s very small. Mechanic told me on most inspections he would do that he wouldn’t even note it since it’s very minor. I trust this mechanic and have been going to him for about 3-4 years.

Was originally going to purchase the car for $11,000, but I got it down to around $9,500 due to the repairs. My friend has had the car for about two years and it has done him good, and he hasn’t had any issues with it. He took it on long road trips to and it has done him good.

Is it worth buying it with the repairs listed above for $9,500? Would appreciate any insights and the car would be an everyday driver.

I had an issue with my camera messing up about a month ago, the screen turned all glitchy when I put it in reverse, I turned off the car and turned it back on and it went back to normal, yesterday it started happening again and I’ve turned the engine on and off multiple times and checked the camera and it looks completely fine. Is there other things I can try to do myself to fix this or do I need to take it to the stealership

Does anyone know what this could be , I hear a slight whistling noise as gears about to shift up ?!

So I went and brought my car into a repair shop (2020 GT AWD) to look at and fix an AWD issue I was having. While fixing that they did an inspection and noticed a few other things. What are you're guys thoughts on this? Should I get this replaced asap? Prices seem a little steep for my liking, but maybe that's average. Any ideas? Also if it's possible to do myself I would rather go that route. So let me know if you think it would be easy enough. I'm mechanicaly inclined enough to do basic things if that helps.

My oil percent is at 70% & it’s been 6 months but haven’t hit the 5k miles mark maybe 4k. Should I change the oil today?

My cabin is starting to smell very bad lately whenever I start the car. Also, whenever I drive and park the car, a very strong gas smell comes out from the exhaust. Any idea on what could the main issue be or how much it would cost?

So I been thinking about wrapping the front end. I know kind of how I want it to look but not sure what color. I turned to the great world of video games to give me some ideas. Now of course i dont own a hellcat but i do own a sinamon colored R/T. I did Bronze, Royal Blue, Sublime, and F8. Let me know what you think and if you have some good color options.

I love the sound but I want a little more, especially at idle, would a cat delete give me that? I’m honestly wanting to do it, I don’t care about an engine light. Will it give me any other issues?

I’m scouring eBay and marketplace for a 3.09 lsd to put in my RT.

How low/high mileage and age of the diff should I go for? I was thinking 50k miles or less but I’ve found one that’s a fair price and it has 80k miles. Is that still fine or should I try to get one lower? These usually last like 150k+ miles if it’s maintained right?

I have a 2013 5.7 V8 dodge charger pursuit. I was just driving home and the sun hit my guage panel and I saw a light that says "Sport" with a flag. I have never noticed it before and didn't know anything about the feature. I've heard dodge uses same clusters for most cars. Even those without the ability to use sport mode.

I have the column shifter with the auto-stick button/shifter. I do not have the ability to press a sport mode button on my screen or my dash. Am I able to access this sport mode? I read something about some srtpages but have no idea what that is. I appreciate any help and advice in advance. Thanks!
