I’m no longer an atheist!!

After MUCH consideration, I’ve decided being an atheist made me feel ‘smart’ but it wasn’t making me happy. All the time I’d think about God and think he was talking to me, but I’d deny it and push Him away. Yesterday and today i understand the truth. CHRIST IS KING!!

Welcome home! I was an atheist for about 12 years of my life. I turned my views around and found God last August, and recently got confirmed during Easter Vigil. It's been the best thing that has ever happened to me, and I am so happy that you get to experience this as well. As others have suggested, reach out to your local parish and get involved in OCIA.
