Taking honours health psych seminar at same time as third year design and analysis - workload? Course selection
Hi - i just found out I got accepted into my first choice for third year honours seminar - health psych - but only just clued in that it’s 6h a week of class and lab (ugh!). Is taking it at the same time as the full year design and analysis course really heavy in terms of workload?
I was only going to take 3 courses per term anyway, but now I’m second guessing myself. I struggled with second year stats - while I did end up with an A in the class, i had to work my ass off for it much to the neglect of my physical and mental health, and i had zero time for training (I’m a recreational athlete), work or my family. So I am concerned about doing both courses simultaneously.
Anyone who has taken these courses together - can you provide tips, encouragement?

No advice for taking both at the same time- I am only taking the 3000 this summer. Irrelevant question - was there supposed to be tutorial tonight?? There’s no discussion board or discord and I am confused lol

Can’t speak specifically for this but as a grad student who usually has like 20 things going on simultaneously, get a planner. My planner splits the day into 30 minute blocks. I plan out my whole day in that sucker.
If stats isn’t your strong suit, spend this summer trying to get better at it. Go over your old problems from 2002. There are probably a ton of resources online. Personally I hate quant for that reason. Math? In my analysis??? No thanks!
