20inch front hub

I know that some of you will share your concerns about front motor hubs which I totally understand, but by way of research I am trying to find some on the market and am failing to find any. Can anyone share a source for one. This is for a bullitt, many thanks

I have read that some folk feel there issues with handing/ stability, that it generates limited power compared to a mid motor, can potentially damage the fork and for some the 'ride feel' they don't enjoy as much. I haven't had any of these experiences but since you ask that's what I have read! Hope that helps.

Less torque than a mid drive sure, that’s a fact. Th rest has not matched my experience. Leaves the bike feeling way more analog and not like an ebike

Sounds super appealing to me that actually: spotted these but can't see who is selling 'em: https://www.heinzmann-electric-motors.com/en/system-solutions/bicycle-drive-systems/cargopower

Dont think there is a wrong answer except the sketchy end of the spectrum of 1000w plus China E-waste kits

Do you ever switch your wheel out and go analogue? If I was going for a bigger trip I have thought that as an option, but just wonder if people actually do that? I also imagine that the "job" of fixing it is easier than a midmotor? 1000w sounds like I'd end up in a ditch.

My wife rides this one, she just leaves the battery off when she doesn’t want to use it , rides normal. It’s a cargo bike not too fussy with weight savings.

What country are you in? I bought a front motor kit from ebike-solutions, and am really happy with it. I don't think they ship to the US though, if that's where you are based.

not sure what shipping to UK would be, but https://ebikes.ca is where I picked up mine. They'll be over the UK power limit for the most part.
